Provide high level engineering by improving process engineering in all process areas for lamination, drilling and other departments as needed.
Oversee material, and equipment resources to meet production schedules
Process improvements based on demonstrated improved yield results
Attend daily production meetings
Monitoring production and quality performance to meet production and quality goals
Working with other departments such as Production Management, Quality Assurance, and Facilities to obtain necessary support to meet production and quality objectives
Preparing training plans, coaching documents, and other written tools for development of employees
Advise on corrective actions, participate during incident investigations
Work with customer to develop a cost-effective and working production process
Provide process documentation and operating instructions, process Engineering changes
Supports manufacturing on weekends and additional hours as required
Interfaces with other engineering and manufacturing team members
Implementing statistical process control (SPC), lean manufacturing, and team building to improve the production and quality performance of these manufacturing areas
Primarily responsible for lamination and registration improvements
Will be mentoring and provide technical direction to new engineering staff and manufacturing personnel
Candidate will be experienced with the use of statistical tools and methods for determining process capabilities, troubleshooting problems, process
Bachelor's degree in chemistry or chemical engineering, or Electrical Engineering
Engineering experience in printed circuit plating processes
10-12 years of Engineering experience, preferably in PCB Manufacturing
Knowledge of process related standards
Experience in process simulations
Working knowledge of process engineering software packages
Familiarity with health and safety regulations
Technical Skills, Analytical thinker with interpersonal skills
Customer Service Oriented
Process Engineer in printed circuit board fabrication, with emphasis on lamination, drilling and registration disciplines.
Successful candidate must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
