The senior principle signal analyst will be an integral part of a highly dynamic team and will support the analytic and development activities within the Advanced Mission Solutions (AMS) program area. The selected candidate will perform signals analysis by using customer tools and databases to investigate, characterize, measure parameters, collect metrics, and assess signal usage and behavior. The senior principle analyst will work closely with developers, teammates, and other subject matter experts to develop a fuller understanding of the intent, objectives, and capabilities of specific systems based on the selected signals, and the analyst will lead discussions with community members and the customer regarding signals of interest. The analyst will also participate with a larger community to infer system "patterns of life" from collected data.
US Citizen with active TS/SCI security clearance
10+ years' experience performing signal analysis
Experience with waveform design and application to include digital and analog modulations
Strong experience performing bit-level analysis of information bearing signals
Experience using signals analysis tools (e.g. Martes, DVT, WVT, Matlab, X-MIDAS, etc)
Strong experience working with sampled waveform files (Blue, Platinum, raw, etc) to include sampling theory
Strong experience with formatted digital signals found in military C4ISR, civil, industrial, commercial, and personal applications and links, conveying information derived from sensors and/or control systems
Experience with analog RF links
Experience establishing and maintaining good working relationships with all levels of the organization, including Government customer, IPT leadership, and support organizations
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be willing and able to travel, as required
Technical FISINT experience
Experience performing both externals and internals signal analysis
Experience with signal detection in challenging RF environments
Spread spectrum (direct sequence and frequency hopped) application
Experience working on Linux operating system
Mentoring of younger analysts
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, or Mathematics (STEM)
