Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Principal Project Planner and Scheduler to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida.
Support program hardware and software procurement
Work on Test & Evaluation Work Orders (TEWO's) and Engineering Fabrication Orders (EFO's) in support of mechanical and electrical fabrication tasks
Develop detailed Bill of Material (BOM)
Look up pricing and gather quotes
Enter items listed on engineering drawing's BOMs into Engineering Property System (EPS)
Complete forms and waivers required for certain purchases, such as Single Sole Source Justification (SSJ), IT Waivers, and Chemical Review Surveys
Develop project and detailed build Work Orders for Electrical and Mechanical fabrication
All hardware and software deliveries will need to align with the schedule of the IMS
The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.
Bachelor's Degree and 0-2 years of procurement/planning/scheduling experience
Demonstrated experience using MS Office Suite: PowerPoint (ability to create,edit presentations and link presentations), Excel (ability to create and edit spreadsheets with complicated formulas, pivot table and macros).
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance.
A current DoD Secret level security clearance
Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.
