Sr. Principal System Administrators, internally known as Sr. Principal Analyst, infrastructure Workplace Services, collaborate with a diverse team to support exciting, critical programs with classified information system capabilities. Success in this role means you are able to develop, implement and maintain secure, cost-efficient environments across various classified programs. Program teams rely on your collaboration and guidance to define computing requirements and create end-to-end solutions to solve complex IT infrastructure problems.

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• You will act as a Leader and coordinator to facilitate discussions between the Platform Product team and other Product teams in an Agile work environment

• The selected individual should be a professional contributor who has managed teams and work taskings with limited supervision who is willing to work as a team member in a fast-paced technological environment.

• Primary interface between the System Admin team and the HW engineers.

• Manage issue tracking for your Product Owner.

• Troubleshooting techniques to resolve technical problems of a moderate to high scope and complexity to include the integration of hardware and operating systems.

• Provide System Administration in a combined Linux, Windows, and VMware environment.

• Install and configure hardware and OS.

• This position is an 100% onsite role. Work location is Aurora, CO.

Basic Qualifications:

• Typically requires bachelor's degree

• 8 years of prior relevant experience or a master's degree and minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.

• Must have an active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• Must have Windows and Linux experience.

• Experience leading technical teams and projects

• Experience with one of the following: VMWare vCenter, vSphere, VDI, and ESX virtual computing methods

• Experience with networking

• Must have DoD 8570.01 IAT Level 2 certification or higher (requires one or more of the following Professional Certifications: CCNA Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated leadership experience coordinating across teams and helping drive success.

• Strong Team leadership in an Agile work environment.

• Experience with developing solutions and documentation for a variety of Server architectures.

• Working knowledge of Data Backup and recovery.

• Experience integrating COTS/GOSS/FOSS products.

• Experience with Data Storage concepts and technologies.

• Experience with security hardening of complex systems.

• An active DoD TS clearance

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
