About the Team

The Solution Architecture team is vital to the success of Workday's Solution Consulting organization. The team serves as the connection between Sales, Product, Services, and Marketing, helping showcase Workday's solutions to audiences across the globe!

Solution Architects have a depth of product knowledge and use their knowledge to develop solutions for some of the toughest industry and socioeconomic challenges. About the Role

As a Solution Architect passionate about Workday Financials products, you will:

• Develop compelling demo solutions that showcase the value of Workday's Financial product suite

• Provide sales support for active strategic opportunities and demos

• Work closely with our world class Development, Product Strategy, Professional Services and Solution Consulting teams to develop messaging and design solutions

• Work with development teams to improve the Financial products and influence product roadmap

• Maintain the operations surrounding the Financial product for Commercial and industry specific demos

• Disseminate product standard methodologies with the greater Workday organization

• Stay up to date with current and projected industry trends

About You

This position is open to candidates at Sr. Principal and Principal experience levels.

Basic Qualifications:

• For Sr. Principal, minimum of 15 years in software Presales/Solution Consulting (Principal level is 10+ years)

• Prior Workday company experience required. For Sr. Principal role, must have at least two years performing in a principal level role at Workday (for Principal, the requirement will be at least two years in a senior level role at Workday)

• 10+ years in core financials including general accounting, revenue, debits and credits

• 5+ years working closely with Workday Financial applications or competing products

• Prior experience in leadership role, without direct reports; with ability to influence product strategy and mentor others

Other Qualifications:

• Prior experience implementing ERP systems

• Workday Prism/Reporting and Analytics experience

• Experience using Agile/Scrum methodology

• Experience designing operational workflows

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Self-motivated and able to thrive independently, while also being a strong team player

• Creative thinker who is willing and able to tackle challenging problems that others cannot

• Ability to travel periodically for team meetings and Presales/Marketing events

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate's compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $195,100 USD - $292,700 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $177,400 USD - $292,700 USD
