As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is building a next generation Infrastructure-as-a-Service that supports the most demanding mission-critical customer requirements, operating at cloud scale to provide a secure, distributed, multi-tenant cloud environment. This role will be located in Oracle's downtown Seattle Offices.
This is your opportunity to be a core part of the team that defines and delivers exciting new capabilities on OCI. We are seeking a candidate with strong product management experience in platform level products or services.
In this role you will be responsible for conceiving and developing new products and features in the virtual networking space. As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications, suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Other responsibilities include development of new concepts and definition and synthesis of business requirements from internal and external stakeholders, writing product specifications and driving project milestones from design to release.
You will lead and coordinate efforts between cross-functional teams to develop best-in-class capabilities on OCI. You will be expected to assess appropriate trade-offs to optimize customer experience, time-to-market, and to clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes to internal stakeholders and remote teams.
