Job Description

The SAS Hardware Engineering Center is seeking a qualified candidate to join the Radar Products Design group.

The candidate will work in the following areas:

  • Design in any one or combination of the following fields:

  • RF (Radio Frequency) / Microwave,

  • Mixed Signal,

  • Power,

  • Development of related design and test documents,

  • Development of all aspects of CCA (Circuit Card Assembly) design,

  • Development of module level designs,

  • Development of related test equipment, and

  • Troubleshooting, integration, and test of new and existing designs.

  • U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.

Preferred Skills

  • 15 years of RF/Microwave, Mixed Signal, and/or Power design,

  • Experience with common, field related computer aided design tools,

  • Ability to quickly adapt to new computer aided design tools,

  • Proficient with oral and written communications,

  • Ability to lead and direct a design team of 5-15 across multiple disciplines, and

  • Ability to manage cost and schedule of design projects.

Required Education: Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Electrical or related Engineering discipline.

Travel: Occasional travel to other Raytheon and supplier sites.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead experienced engineers to develop new features and enhancements to the CBRE API Management platform primarily in the Java programming language. Participate in requirement gathering, sprint planning and design sessions Build and execute unit and automation test suites. Collaborate with scrum team members during daily standup Actively engage in sprint reviews and retrospectives Support, enhance and develop new features in the WSO2 API Management suite. Utilize open source technologies such as Kafka, Docker, relational and no-sql databases, to build cloud based products Employ Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery tools for optimal productivity Monitor for, evaluate, resolve and make decisions and recommendations to remediate application production issues.
