Job Description:

Our Space and Airborne Systems business is a leading provider of communication systems that provide timely and accurate information to our military forces. Our growing business is looking for technical leaders who can help us manage FPGA development activities on new and ongoing programs while advancing our development processes to take advantage of the latest tools and technologies.

Required Skills:

  • A minimum of 10 years professional experience in engineering and/or engineering management.

  • Experience performing FPGA design and/or verification.

  • Experience developing system and/or FPGA architectures based on high level requirements.

  • Proficiency with VHDL for developing FPGA or ASIC designs.

  • Experience with System on Chip (SoC) devices.

  • Experience in project team leadership, including technical, budget, staffing, and schedule management

  • Experience with FPGA development methodologies and tools from Xilinx and/or Altera/Intel.

  • Possess, or able to obtain, Secret security clearance and COMSEC clearance.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience as a designer/verifier in communication or radar system development.

  • Proficiency with Modelsim and/or Questa for functional verification.

  • Experience incorporating third party IP into FPGA designs.

  • Experience with UVM tools and methodology.

  • Experience using DOORs tool for requirements capture and flow-down.

  • Familiarity with tools for evaluating test coverage.

  • Familiarity with version control tools such as Clearcase or Git.

  • Experience applying earned value management techniques.

  • Good communication and presentation skills.

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
