The A2I MA is responsible for the development of NGC's AI/ML technology research priorities, AI insertion into our existing and next gen programs and support to the corporate AI/ML strategy execution.
Key specific responsibilities include:
Serving as technical ambassadors for AI/ML across the NGC enterprise
Development of foundational AI/ML discriminators for use in systems and platforms across the enterprise
Identification and assessment of AI insertion opportunities into key programs across the enterprise
Architecting AI solutions in collaboration with key program technical leadership teams
Shaping corporate AI strategy
Driving innovation, technology maturation and integration into AI product lines
Serving as technical subject matter experts for key customers, technical standards organizations and academia
Collaborating with and advising NGC AI community across the enterprise
Engaging, collaborating and fostering partnerships with commercial AI companies
Promoting adaptation and adoption of commercial AI technologies within NGC offerings
Overseeing research and fostering partnerships with key academic partners
Basic Qualifications:
STEM 9 Years with Bachelors in Science; 7 Years with Masters; 4 Years with PhD.
Minimum of 6 years experience in the application of AI/ML for defense or commercial solution development
US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Deep technical understanding of artificial intelligence and state of the art commercial practices
Proven ability to apply cutting edge research to real mission customer problems
Demonstrated ability to think broadly about applications of AI/ML research to products across the NGC enterprise
