What You'll Do:
As the Sr. Pricing Analyst, you will be instrumental in driving our company's financial growth by developing and implementing pricing strategies that enhance product adoption and monetize our product range more effectively. You will conduct in-depth analysis of revenue, market share, capacity, and competitor activity to develop optimal pricing & bundle strategies across diverse geographies and market segments. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, product management, and operations, to ensure pricing strategies align with company goals and market needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive pricing analysis to identify strategies and pricing models to create customer value through differentiated and competitive packaging and pricing.
Optimizing pricing models for customer adoption, renewal, and revenue growth through bundling strategies, and promotional offers.
Conduct thorough market, customer, product, and competitive research, assess data critically, and develop insights into market trends, pricing and packaging strategies, and competitive intelligence.
Maintain a robust database of historical pricing and packaging data to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of pricing and packaging strategies, guiding future pricing and packaging decisions.
Establish key pricing metrics to monitor and assess the impact of pricing decisions on sales volume, customer acquisition and retention, and profitability.
Collaborate with Business Unit and Department Leadership Teams to lead pricing-related projects, including establishing timelines, defining deliverables, drafting communications or presentations, and ensuring effective change management.
Develop and maintain pricing models that include various pricing structures and scenarios, ensuring they are based on sound financial principles and reflect market dynamics.
Who You Are:
Passionate about leveraging data and customer insights to drive pricing and packaging opportunities and enthusiastic about helping purpose driven organizations
High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of 8 years of proven experience in pricing strategy
Minimum of 5 years' experience within subscription/SaaS environment with multiple products and services
Strong financial modeling skills demonstrated by your ability to create pricing structures and P&L analysis with multiple scenarios.
Expertise in quantitative and qualitative pricing research, including surveys & customer interviewing to test customer segmentation, value metrics, pricing models, etc.
Advanced capability and experience with Microsoft Excel, SFDC, WorkDay, and PowerBI.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships, work as part of a cross-functional team, and drive strategic initiatives without formal authority.
Strong analytical capabilities are required, including the ability to derive insights from large/abstract data sets and summarize them for executive consumption. Identifying opportunities, analyzing information, and proposing solutions is key.
Payment Processing knowledge, especially interchange and scheme fees are a plus.
