We have an exciting opportunity within Honeywell Aerospace to be part of a newly formed Commercial Item Justification (CIJ) Center of Excellence (COE). The CIJ COE is looked to as a key enabler for Aerospace to more efficiently contract with the US Government on a commercial basis to reduce the contracting time and the cost to serve while also enabling business growth. The CIJ COE team provides the company with the necessary support and expertise for commercial item assertions for various US Government defense and space contracting opportunities.

In accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations, the Sr. Pricing Analyst position plays a key role responsible for supporting commercial item justification, by performing price reasonableness analyses. This position will work cross-functionally with the Engineering and Product Management teams, Customer Business Teams, Contracts, Pricing, Compliance and the Integrated Supply Chain. This a highly visible position that will interact with key stakeholders across the Aerospace organization as well as the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA). This position will have the following key responsibilities:

  • Use financial analysis expertise and problem solving abilities to assess the path to commerciality and associated price reasonableness for various offerings (products and services spanning mechanical, electrical, and software related items)

  • Clearly document and communicate the justification for price reasonableness

  • Understand the laws, regulations and guidance for Commercial Items, Price Reasonableness and Government contracting

  • Project manage multiple priorities simultaneously

  • Identify and address areas for improvement in the process / organization

YOU MUST HAVE:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or equivalent fields

Significant / 5+ years relevant experience (e.g., pricing, financial planning & analysis, finance, accounting)

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements

Experience in process improvement and tool development with demonstrated results

Ability to influence and work with teams to resolve complex problems and improve processes

A pro-active strong bias for action (relying solely on email to communicate won't do)

Job Summary: The resource will report to the Manager, Financial Operations Technology to support Financial Operations of Americas (FOA) and Corporate Real Estate (CRE) technology platforms and their associated roadmap of projects. The resource will work closely with FOA and CRE business unit, Finance Technology team and other technology groups to develop solutions and implementation of solutions to meet the business requirements.
