The Digital Sales Sr. PPC Specialist will be responsible for growing the digital sales channel within the Just Energy family of energy brands. As a vital member of the team, the ideal candidate works closely with the Director of Online Sales to expertly build and manage Pay Per Click and CPM media strategies for a variety of Just Energy brands and initiatives. This person quickly understands and supports initiatives that will contribute to the goals and success of campaigns. Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to: daily account management of pay per click accounts across SERP platforms and analyzing digital performance metrics, discovering and presenting opportunities for growth and optimizations, presenting and implementing growth initiatives to drive towards and beyond revenue and sales goals, act as business owner for digital sales projects, work cross-functionally with product, pricing, and technology teams to support online sales goals, regularly present findings, insight and recommendations for sales growth.
Perform daily account management and of pay per click accounts on Google AdWords, Yahoo, Bing and other search platforms.
Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of keyword bids, account daily and monthly budget caps, impression share, quality score and other important account metrics.
Manage and maintain updates for large keyword lists.
Provide creative copy suggestions, acting with urgency to iterate and test.
Assist in the management of Display network placement lists on AdWords and through other contextual advertising platforms, particularly leveraging analytics for remarketing campaigns.
Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other facets of paid search in accordance with client goals.
Support the generation new paid search campaigns, ad groups, and accounts and aid in the creation of new paid search marketing initiatives.
Generate, daily, weekly and monthly reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other paid search initiatives.
Keep pace with search engine and PPC industry trends and developments.
Monitor and administer web analytics dashboards, reports and key reporting tools, and point out key areas of importance in accordance client goals.
Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels.
Communication to team and management on project development, timelines, and results.
Work closely with the other team members to meet team and corporate goals, focused on growth AND profitability
Conceptualize and drive strategies and sales growth initiatives through technical and content optimizations across Just Energy website properties.
Launch and manage performance of digital campaigns across Just Energy brands and markets, targeting both residential and commercial customers and focused on delivering consistent sales results
Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders to optimize sales and revenue-generating performance, leveraging cross-functional capabilities in Product/Pricing development, Marketing, IT, etc.
Collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment with a broad spectrum of stakeholders across Legal, Marketing, Operations, Pricing, Information Technology, etc.
Work closely with Information Technology team and Legal to ensure consistent and compliant framework that scales to support all brands and all Markets.
Work closely with Director of Online Sales and Sr Digital Sales Manager to establish strategy for targeting customers that drive Gross Margin and EBITDA goals.
Work with Analytics/Reporting resources to ensure accurate and consistent performance reporting.
Prepare and present monthly and ad hoc channel performance presentations, as well as business cases to support recommendations for channel investment.
Work to optimize the channel and Just Energy product mix to achieve new customer acquisitions, revenue per customer, products per customer and optimal cost-to-acquire targets.
Analyze market trends and recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback.
Prepare and adhere to budgets, as needed.
Ensure brand standards and trademark requirements are met across digital assets.
Work with Legal to ensure we adhere to PUC rules for online sales across brands and markets.
Gather and analyze customer data and financial benefit.

Highly skilled with the tools of the trade in a sales/corporate environment including written communication, website development, market research, product creation, Microsoft software suite of products
Experience with managing portfolio of partnerships, with accountability to maintaining consistent records of contracts and versions
Minimum 7-10 years of professional experience in directly managing and optimizing PPC and CPM based digital campaigns
Required Bachelor's Degree
Certified in Google Adwords and Analytics
