Job Description:

The Sr. Systems Engineering role is responsible for the implementation of complex solutions to provide hosting services and platforms to various development teams and working in partnership with the Strategy & Architecture team to help drive the standardization and operational support of infrastructure solutions to support the firm's infrastructure needs. The primary objective is to provide stability and resiliency for hardware, software, services and other advanced technologies supporting various lines of business (LOB's) the Infrastructure Platform Engineering (IPE) will focus on bringing deep technology solutions to the business while fully integrating support models and converged infrastructure across servers, storage, networking and other advanced technologies. The IPE plays a leadership role by analyzing business requirements, presenting related solutions, and driving the implementation of the business case and financial justifications.

Basic Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with vmware based technologies:

  • vCenter/ESX 5+ years

  • vRealize Automation/Orchestration

  • NSX (Specifically integration with vRA/vRO)

  • vRealize Log Insight 1+ years

  • vRealize Operations 2+ years

  • vRealize Business for Cloud (optional, but a +)

  • VMware Integrated Open Stack (optional, but a +)

  • Extensive experience with Server OS technologies

  • Windows 2008/2012/2016

  • Knowledge/Experience with API development
