Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrates effective work strategies supporting Illumina policies and processes that are focused on continuous improvement and optimal results.

  • Ensures supply globally by aligning supply and demand at distribution centers.

  • Creates and supports network distribution strategy for new product launches.

  • Develops and implements strategies to optimize safety stock and minimize inventory excess & obsolescence.

  • Acts as a data steward for master data elements impacting global supply & those impacting global supply.

  • Ensures data integrity of master data elements at distribution centers.

  • Troubleshoots transactional records to resolve inventory discrepancies.

  • Analyzes inventory reserves.

  • Builds and maintains methodology and tools for ongoing performance analysis.

  • Monitors supply chain key performance indicators, performs root cause analysis, implements action plans.

  • Leads cross-functional meetings and presents data and conclusions.

  • Develops and implements allocation strategies.

  • Prioritizes supply availability at distribution centers based on strategic and customer-based needs.

  • Escalates and communicates availability issues.

  • Leverages tools for ongoing performance analysis, performs root cause analysis, executes action plans, and participates in continuous improvement events.

  • Takes initiative to seek and implement continuous improvements.

  • Provides planning system knowledge support cross-functionally.

  • May act as a lead or guide for lower-level personnel.

  • Collaborates with S&OP to ensure alignment to operational objectives

Requirements:

  • Advanced master data knowledge at a global level.

  • Intermediate to advanced level skills with Microsoft Office suite.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Effective verbal, written, and presentation skills.

  • Advanced knowledge of ERP, MRP & DRP

  • SAP and Rapid Response experience or another Advanced Planning System.

  • Proficient in systematic planning solutions to mitigate material constraints.

  • Understanding of reporting and key metrics, ability to create reports and perform comprehensive data analysis.

  • Ability to perform investigative, root cause analysis.

  • Advanced knowledge of Supply Chain; APICS certification preferred.

  • Understanding of country specific import / export regulations.

  • Understanding of change management and life cycle processes.

  • Understanding of country specific import / export regulations.

  • Ability to distill complex issues into simple effective messages for management.

  • Experience with multiple product lines in a multi-site manufacturing environment.

  • Familiar with GMP and SOX regulatory and compliance requirements preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree required: Operations, Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain or Life Science discipline

  • Requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 3 years and a Master's degree; or equivalent experience.

VIEW JOBS 11/16/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-14T00:00 Works independently to plan, design, oversee and manage new additions and modifications to the electric and gas distribution systems, primarily related to services. Provides details and information for each job so the customer can make a decision on which design is best for them. Acts as the SDG&E customer representative on these projects communicating and negotiating with internal and external entities as needed to successfully manage customer expectations, service and meter location requirements, project status and costs, while ensuring customer satisfaction and project completion. Independently manages all aspects of a varying number of projects and schedules. May provide direction, oversight and performance input to Service Coordinators and Staff Assistants. Directs company, contract, and customer representatives on the design of the distribution system. * Conducts field investigations, meets with customers, customer representatives, contractors, construction crews, SDG&E agents and governmental agencies to analyze, plan, and manage additions and modifications to gas and electric facilities. Provides customers detailed information so they have options based upon costs, timing and future plans and job scope. * Determines the feasibility of the proposed additions in order to estimate the probability of construction. Negotiates acceptable service and meter locations. Identifies and resolves field conditions to mitigate or remove SDG&E and customer construction constraints and to preserve the integrity of the distribution system. * Using engineering calculations, prepares designs for cost effective construction service orders conforming to company safety and reliability standards, governmental regulations, state and federal guidelines. Prepares documentation to support the engineering of new customer additions to the SDG&E infrastructure. * Analyzes customer load data and coordinates gas and electric load studies. Performs engineering calculations using accepted systems and methodology to determine appropriate design details. * Applies company policies and procedures. Calculates all costs associated with assigned projects. Negotiates with private homeowners for acquisitions of Right of Way, environmental releases, permits, traffic control and municipal requirements. * Performs other duties as assigned.
