Your Job:

In this highly technical, fast-paced, and challenging position as a SR PC Maintenance Technician, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to maintain a fundamentally sound departmental systems infrastructure supporting a 3500+ node, multiple site, Microsoft Operating System and virtual Client/Server network with continued expansion. research, design, program, test, install, and maintain assigned programs and systems.

Your Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent degree is preferred

  • Equivalent experience in a Client/Server environment can be substituted

  • CompTIA-A+, CompTIA-Network, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

  • 4 years working experience in a Client/Server operations environment. Preference will be given for experience in a multi-site operation running on current Microsoft Operating Systems.

Under general supervision, provides second-tier support to end-users for PC, server, mainframe applications and hardware. Handles problems that the first-tier of help desk support is unable to resolve. May interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problem. In this position, the candidate troubleshoots printer, computer, and peripheral incidents, performs hardware and software diagnostics, coordinates needed repairs, resolves computer system problems, including coordination between users and components of a local area network, and participates in the evaluation of system configuration and software.
