Sr Patient Environmental Services Area Associate

Work Schedule: Full Time Employee

• Rotating Weekly Evening and Night Shifts Required

• Thursday and Friday: 3:00pm-11:30pm

• Saturday and Sunday: 10:00pm

• 6:30am

Job Role:

• Maintain the ongoing disinfection of the hospital areas where inpatients reside overnight and receive critical care services with invasive surgical procedures.

• Responsible for utilizing bed management system and department electronic monitoring for patient transfers and discharges while ensuring sanitization compliance

• Responsible for high level disinfection cleaning procedures by handling potentially infectious waste and linens when cleaning up blood and body fluids in the operating rooms.

Required Qualifications:

• • Minimum of 18 years of age required.
• • Ability to comprehend materials safety data sheets and chemical labels required.
• • Ability to multi-task required.
• • Good written and verbal communication required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• • Experience in hospitality related environment or cleaning experience preferred.
• • High school education or equivalent preferred.
