Description Hunton Andrews Kurth LLP, a global law firm, is actively recruiting a Senior Paralegal for the CFRE team in its Los Angeles office. This position provides sophisticated technical and substantive support to lawyers on the preparation of complex legal documents, technical legal research issues, and other advanced tasks related to one or more of the firm's legal practice areas.
Trains and mentors other paralegals and case clerks and coordinates the delegation of work to same. Provides staff leadership in supporting firm, office and team initiatives and in support of management directives. Requirements Four year college degree or equivalent paralegal experience required; paralegal certificate, National Association of Legal Assistants certification or specialty certificate provided by State helpful. Minimum of seven years of paralegal, or related business experience required; experience performing title, survey reviews, preparing documents for loans, purchases, sales, and other real estate transactions.
Other Minimum Qualifications Include: Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic technological and research skills necessary to pull requested documents from online resources and familiarity with legal technology and computer databases required.
Must have ability to train other paralegals and work efficiently and accurately under pressure, and present a positive, professional image with colleagues, professional staff, and vendors. Ability to work overtime or travel, as needed, on short notice essential. To perform this job successfully, the incumbent must possess the abilities or aptitudes to proficiently perform each of the responsibilities and accountabilities described above, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Visual acuity needed for transcription, extensive reading and input (typing) of information into computer. Ability to receive and convey detailed information through oral communication.
