Sr. OSP Construction Manager/ Engineer (FTTH)We are currently recruiting for an Outside Plant Engineer/ OSP Construction Manager (FTTH) based in the Lancaster/York, PA area. This is a Full-Time position helping to Design / Engineer / Construct Fiber to the Home (FTTH, FTTX). This role is Remote / WFH with regular meetings within South Central Pennsylvania (Must be local).
In a nutshell we are looking for either a construction project manager that knows OSP engineering or a Fiber Engineer that knows FTTH Construction.Role:
You will review the design packages from 3rd party design companies to make sure they are correct before going to construction. Solid Fiber to the Home (FTTH) as well as a Construction and Engineering background is required in addition to having the ability to redline drawings and manage third party vendors is required.You should have experience with Outside Plant Fiber Networks (Aerial & Underground) from preliminary design to a full construction. You should be comfortable reviewing field designs, permitting requirements and be comfortable working from home with regular trips into market – A company vehicle or paid mileage will be provided.You should have familiarity reviewing design specs and documentation. Creating workflows and processes and developing and maintaining project schedules. In addition you should have good vendor management skills.What will catch our eye:
5+ years of FTTH design and /or construction experience.
Fiber design and Construction reviews – Redlines
Outside Plant Fiber experience (Aerial & Underground)
Solid computer skills are a must (Excel, CAD).
We will are looking for someone that can become the "Go to" person that can build long-term relationships in this market.Key Skills:
