Sr. Operations Manager

Nalu is seeking a dynamic Sr. Operations Manager, to oversee the end-to-end supply chain processes, and ensure efficient planning, procurement, and inventory management to meet enterprise margin, organizational goals and customer demands. The Sr. Operations Manager will demonstrate success in engaging team members and developing leaders within their group, as well as manage the day-to-day operations to ensure the success of the department. This position requires an individual with a strong background in Operations management, Metric driven, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to lead & drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership:

• Build, develop, and lead a high-performing operations team, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure success

• Drive team objectives and goal setting, prioritization, and adherence to plan and strategy

• Work closely with other departments to align operations with overall company objectives

SI&OP:

• Oversee the entire supply chain process, from order placement to delivery, to ensure timely and efficient procurement of materials & finished goods

• Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure adherence to Price targets, On time delivery, full line fill and quality standards

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and delivery lead times

• Analyze inventory data to identify trends and opportunities for cost reduction

• Ensure stock control systems operate at peak accuracy and efficiency by supervising, organizing, directing, writing SOPs and training employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operation performance metrics.

MRP/ERP Optimization:

• Analyze and identify opportunities for improvement and collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to implement system enhancements

• Troubleshoot transactional issues within the systems and develop solutions

Enterprise Process Improvements:

• Implement data-driven process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the Operations team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field required

• Minimum 10 years' work experience

• People management experience

• Experience operating in a highly regulated industry

• Ability to understand high level business and operational needs

• Commutable distance to Carlsbad, CA office (this is an onsite role)
