Job Description Summary:

The Walmart Sr Omni Customer Manager for Cat MM & Treats ($650 M business) will lead the development, management, and execution of our Cat MM & Treats Omni Strategy, and Cat MM & Treats annual business planning process (internal financial review, line review, negotiations).

This role will partner with Customer Marketing, Supply, Digital & Planning, RGM and Finance Teams within our organization to enable strategy execution.

This role requires functional and technical skills, forecasting and trade management capability, stores, and digital business acumen, leveraging insights to action and a strategic and enterprise mindset.

What Are We Looking For:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of direct customer management experience; Walmart, eCommerce, category, and customer marketing experience a plus.

  • Previous experience with syndicated data sources: Nielsen, Retail Link, Luminate

  • Comfort and confidence working with and presenting to the Walmart Team, Cross-Functional Teams, and Mars & Walmart Leadership

What Are Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy: develop, manage, execute, and present a shopper-driven strategy that will enable mutually beneficial results for Mars and Walmart (ASP; Advanced Strategic Partnership)

  • Business Planning: develop, manage, execute, and present stores & digital plans that will enable mutually beneficial results for Mars and Walmart; forecast gross and net revenue and manage trade budgets across growth levers: assortment, pricing/margin, features, search, media, rollbacks, iBOTTA (internal financial reviews, line review, negotiations)

  • Customer Focus/Relationship: own the relationship with the Cat MM & Treats associate merchant; omni performance analytics, assortment/feature planning, WMC search and media planning.

  • Organizational Agility: Walmart is the #1 account within Mars Petcare, so it's fast paced, dynamic and highly visible. The ability to build relationships and foster collaboration cross-functionally and with leadership, as well as understand the E2E process to have an enterprise mindset is crucial to the success of this role.
