The Senior Nutrition Services Aide supports the vision of the Total Healing Environment and the values of respect, integrity, accountability, commitment and quality while ensuring that patient trays and snacks adhere to diet orders and patient preferences. Updates CBORD with diet orders and patient preferences. Receives telephone orders from Room Service patients. Modifies menus according to prescribed diet. Provides operational oversight of patient trays.
High School graduate or GED
One year of experience in a healthcare facility food service department
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Yavapai County or other AZ County Food Worker OR ANSI approved Food Handler OR Professional Food Manager certificate within 30 days of employment
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing providing excellent customer service
Basic computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows
Ability to learn order communication system
Must pass pre-employment screening
