What You Will Do:
Under general supervision of a neurologist performs routine and complex neuro-diagnostic tests to include nerve conduction studies, cardiac and sudomotor autonomic testing, and quantitative sensory testing in order to obtain data for use in diagnosis of neurological disorders.
Operates equipment safely to include computer console, correct operation of the stimulator for iontophoresis of acetylcholine at each site in the upper and lower limbs, correct function of the Finometer device, BP monitor, and automated tilt table for study of neurological abnormalities.
What You Need to Be Successful:
Proficient knowledge of neurophysiology and neuroanatomy is required to record and analyze the electro-diagnostic nerve responses.
AA degree in an approved neuro-diagnostic technology program or equivalent applicable experience.
Minimum of two years' experience performing EMG's and NCV's, autonomic testing and quantitative sensory testing is required.
Advanced certification in nerve conduction (preferred)
