Your Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN)

  • Configure and install software, servers, routers and other network devices

  • Monitor network performance and integrity

  • Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure

  • Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness

  • Mentor team members on technical issues

  • Create, oversee and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery)

  • Communicate with users when needed

  • Maintain complete technical documentation

  • Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity and scalability

Requirements

  • Industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator

  • Professional certification (e.g. CCNP, CCDP, CMNO, Network+)

  • Solid background in network administration and architecture

  • In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF)

  • Familiarity with access control models and network security

  • Experience with security/network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. PRTG, AlienVault, etc)

  • Solid understanding of network operating systems (Extreme, Ruckus, Cisco IOS, Meraki)

  • Sharp troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Organizational and mentoring skills

  • BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field

Job Summary Under the direction of the Physician Relations Manager, the Senior Physician Liaison has the responsibility for development and management of strategic referral relationships that drive business to the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals. Liaison will supervise the Children's Hospitals' liaison team providing direction and acting as lead for Children's Hospital and Women's Services initiatives. As a Senior Physician Liaison, the incumbent will support overall growth strategies within their assigned geography. Serves as the primary point of contact for the external referring audiences. Liaison will market clinical enterprise, write sales and growth plans, respond to referral issues, identify needs of referral sources, and report findings to leadership. Represent the medical center to several of its most demanding market segments in a responsible, mature and responsive manner. The geographic territory in which the physician liaison will work is the San Francisco region representing the Benioff Children's Hospitals and UCSF Women's Services, with potential travel throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. It is preferred that the candidate reside in the identified territory, with majority of time spent in the territory and scheduled time at the department office. Required Qualifications * Five years experience managing a healthcare sales team or in healthcare sales * Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training * Strong quantitative and analytical skills to perform complex market and financial analysis * Familiarity with a CRM product, particularly Salesforce * The flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations Preferred Qualifications * Master's Degree * Strong knowledge of health care industry trends; advanced knowledge of the medical center or health system's product lines and services * Event planning or continuing medical education experience desired * Strong interpersonal communication, relationship building and political acumen skills * Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and technical skills to learn specialized applications and tools in the field * Strong knowledge of physician practice, managed care relationships and payor contracting * Ability to work independently and cooperatively with others in a team environment * Creative problem solving skills to assess opportunities and issues and develop solutions Licensure/Certification * N/A Living Pride Standards Service Excellence * Demonstrates service excellence by following the Everyday PRIDE Guide with the UCSF Medical Center standards and expectations for communication and behavior.
