RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Lead installation and maintenance of site network equipment (routers, switches, and wireless solutions)

• Maintain and administer site infrastructure, including network connectivity, and internet access.

• Support the definition of network architecture, evaluation of products, and implementation of new technologies into the network.

• Participate in the daily planning, tracking, scheduling, and executing of project tasks and general network operations activities.

• Diagnose, resolve, and document hardware and software network problems in a timely and accurate fashion.

• Configure global networks to ensure reliable operation for business objectives and processes.

• Responsible for working with both vendors and customers to resolve complex issues and to ensure that delivered services match expectations.

• Participate in on-call support to assist with troubleshooting, coordination, escalation, and resolution of network, voice, or security-based incidents, equipment failures, etc.

• Process, monitor and prioritize trouble tickets globally; basic troubleshooting of network-related issues.

• Follow and enhance existing IT policies and procedures.

• Ability to fully document network infrastructure and its processes.

• Identifies solutions and improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability.

• This role will observe standard working hours in Manila and may on occasion be asked to work hours to support the business in other global regions.

• DNS administration and IP Address management.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years' experience.

• 3+ years' experience in network architecture and deployment.

• Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certificate preferred; Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certificate required.

• Deep understanding of how BGP works.

• Experience managing complex network environments: SD-WAN, Palo Alto Next-Generation cloud firewalls with threat prevention, on-prem firewalls, Cisco wireless environment, Azure\AWS\GCP cloud networking.

• Sharp troubleshooting skills.

• Familiarity with access control models and network security.

• Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (SolarWinds)

• Effective interpersonal and communications (verbal and written) skills.

• Organizational and mentoring skills.
