BE PART OF THE CONNECTION

As a Senior Middleware Administrator on this team, you'll be responsible for creating Road MAPs for Middleware platforms and migration plans from existing new Middleware platforms. You will also engineer automated solutions for operational excellence and engineer high and continuous availability solutions for Applications. This role will establish and communicate best practices while collaborating with a wide variety of senior technology teams to automate technology stack deployments across virtual and physical server infrastructures. You work will be performed independently and will include a wide variety of duties in the Middleware stack.

WHAT OUR SENIOR MIDDLEWARE ADMINISTRATORS ENJOY MOST

• Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.

• First Responder responsible for Applications uptime and issue resolutions.

• Oversee installation of various Middleware Products.

• Create, configure, deploy and troubleshoot monitoring solutions as well as provide deployment implementation best practices.

• Responsible for product upgrades and installations.

• Provide advanced subject matter expertise for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts.

• Develop new documentation, departmental technical procedures and run books.

• Participates in projects and assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported areas.

• Oversee testing as well as creation of updates to business continuation plan.

• Modify and deploy respective application codes.

• Application monitoring and system health checks including responding to pages and alerts.

• Lead production problem resolution including troubleshooting, documentation and communication as related to the product installation.

• Install middleware server certificates for secured communication between internal systems and/or communicating to the outside network.

• Effectively manage multiple, competing, high-priority projects with varying deadlines.

• Address issues in a timely manner to meet SLA.

• Mentor junior team members in environment specific technology deployments.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

• Experience:

• 6+ years of Application administration and implementation experience in a high usage, high profile platform environment.

• 6+ years of experience in product administration, specifically with Weblogic, JBoss, EMS, BusinessWorks (BW), and BusinessEvents (BE).

• Experience with UNIX, LINUX and Windows environments with Installation & script deployments

• Experience in Performance Tuning, Capacity Planning, Cluster Design/implementation and troubleshooting

• Experience with JVM memory management, diagnostics and configuration

• Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) and Web Services Concepts

• Previous Product Upgrade and Installation experience

• Education:

• Bachelor's Degree, Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience. Middleware Certificate Management

• Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of Flow Control, Fault Tolerance, Load Balancing, Routing for design

• Weblogic Application Server 11g/12c, SOA, OSB, AIA, Webcenter, Jboss, Tomcat, TIBCO BW, BE, HAWK, OEM, Proxy Servers, Apache, Linux

• Skills:

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with all levels of business users in a professional manner.

• Extensive experience with collaborating and building team consensus when interacting with both the leadership and the implementation teams.

• Abilities:

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Must be able to manage a fully integrated and highly available application environment in a fast-paced environment

• Advanced experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)

• Experience with Service Orchestration, Composite services, Workflow patterns

• Experience in installing and configuring Weblogic, JBoss, Tomcat, EMS, BW, BE with Load Balancing and Fault Tolerant methods

• Experienced in documenting and presenting designed technical solutions
