This position is responsible for supporting North America Operations to improve the effectiveness of the business through collaboration with business leaders and other functional areas by delivering strategic talent management and leadership development initiatives. Practice areas include: leadership development, assessment and onboarding, talent/performance management, employee engagement/retention, and organizational culture.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adheres to SYKES policies on ethics and integrity.
Develops performance and talent management strategies to drive employee engagement and organizational performance.
Partners with executive leaders (North America HR & Operations Leaders, Corporate HR) and Operations leadership to assess, design, implement, and evaluate development solutions for leadership roles.
Empowers Site/Program Leadership to deliver development programs and resources, providing effective support and feedback to ensure the content is effective and reinforced on a regular basis.
Continually assesses leadership programs, technology, best practices, and talent capabilities to make improvements.
Trains, coaches, and advises Operations leadership and management and HR on the use, development, and implementation of individual development plans (IDPs).
Designs and implements assessment and onboarding strategies/processes/tools.
Develops and/or implements career pathing tools and experiences, e.g., leadership behaviors, on-the-job development resources, access to other learning opportunities.
Designs and implements effective talent management and performance management processes, tools, and resources.
Trains and works with Operations leadership and Site/Program leadership to ensure completion of performance management steps; tracks status and follows up as needed.
Leads the collection of engagement surveys / employee feedback to enable Operations to identify opportunities and leverage resources to build specific action plans.
Consults with HR and business leaders to identify ad hoc talent needs and solutions.
Influences and communicates effectively with leadership to drive innovation.
Develops and executes marketing and communication strategies to promote leadership development and learning at SYKES (in partnership with HR Communications).
Manages projects/teams of varying size and scope.
Travel as business needs require, including trips scheduled, at times, with short notice.
May perform other additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
