SunPower is seeking to hire a Sr Manager, Corporate FP&A, located in San Jose, CA This person will be responsible for the compilation and close follow up of assumptions that need resolution and reporting on status of assumption closure as part of BOQ, EOQ, MYP and AOP processes as well as responsible for coordinating corporate financial planning activities, which include all quarterly and annual forecasting. He / She will interface with Business unit leaders.
Develop and deploy Business Intelligence tools, financial models and dashboard reports tailored to facilitate timely decision support at Company and the division levels
Contribute to define best alternatives decision process for SunPower projects
Provide the investor relations organization with reports with thoughtful financial analysis and projections and competitive benchmarking analysis
Perform ongoing screening, evaluation, analysis of competitors financials reporting
Prepare investment approval procedure consistent with SPWR broader strategic planning process, assist in defining content of investment project file, assist in modeling of financial impacts (B/S, P/L, cash flows)
Support the business and accounting due diligence teams
Contribute to the preparation and production of management reports to CEO, CFO, Executive Committee and Board of Directors
Coordinate and compile competitive information and materials for CFO All Hands presentations, analyst packages and quarterly earnings release guidance
Contribute to Cost Reduction analysis and Free Cash Flow Transformation Plan
Other ad hoc reporting and financial analysis

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly complex and constantly-evolving business environment that may require frequently re-assessment and benchmarking of priorities against objectives

Ability to convey simple to complex financial information to individuals and groups.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organization and project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects are critical.
Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.
Bachelor degree required, preferably with a focus in accounting, finance, economics, or business management
10 + years of experience in corporate or division-level financial planning and analysis
Experience working at a large corporation where best-in-class forecasting processes made finance an integral part of business planning
Firm understanding of U.S. GAAP accounting and other financial principles
Proven track record of challenging the status quo and success in making improvements to processes and procedures, especially automation of tedious manual processes
Previous exposure to Hyperion Planning, SAP Business Objects or other financial IT tools
Excellent analytical and business analysis skills
Advanced degree or MBA
Bachelor degree and 8+ years of related experience
Advanced Degree is desirable
OR equivalent combination of education and years of related experience
