Responsible for designing, implementing, and managing innovative health and welfare benefits programs that promote and enable company objectives and deliver significant benefits aligned with global policies, processes and programs. Is both a hands-on and strategic role, providing leadership and support to key Benefits projects.

Manages the development, implementation and maintenance of SunPowers global benefits policies and programs. Ensures that programs are current with regard to trends, practices and costs. Negotiates coverage, services and costs with carriers and brokers. Establishes collaborative partnerships with internal SunPower functions such as legal and procurement and consults with key business stakeholders and HR team members to ensure overall compliance, adherence to SunPower policies, and alignment with business strategies and objectives.

Responsible for managing all aspects of the company's health and welfare benefit plans, voluntary benefits, perks, and wellness programs in support of company goals and initiatives
Use creative benefit communications and branding to enhance understanding and utilization of benefit programs (Total Rewards, Wellness)
Manage the administration of all US benefit programs including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, flexible spending accounts and other employee benefit programs
Analyize benefit programs and claims utilization data to look for ways to improve offerings

Manage benefits vendors and act as the liaison between vendors and plan participants when necessary

Facilitate annual enrollment process and communications, including implementation of recommended benefit plan and vendor changes

Manage international benefits strategy

Establish collaborative partnerships and consult with key business stakeholders and HR team members

Consult with and commuicate with varied stakeholder audiences, including senior organizational leaders

Managers benefit vendors and act as liason between vendors and plan participants when necessary

Reports to Sr. Director of Total Rewards
Proven ability to work with minimal guidance, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and take initiative under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances

Minimum Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree and 10+ years of related experience
OR equivalent combination of education and years of related experience
