As a Senior Media System Architect at Micron Technology, Inc., you will work within the 3DXP Media System Engineering group. You will be responsible for the development and integration of non-volatile memory (NVM) based systems into Micron's growing portfolio of system products. This is a key creative and development position where you will provide data driven mentorship, setting the vision for generations of future Micron products.

Job Responsibilities:

Emerging non-volatile media management algorithm development for endurance and performance;

Media characterization data analysis with scientific methodology;

Media channel development and simulation;

Innovative error correction coding algorithms development and their specifications;

Integrate algorithms to system architecture to product implementation;

And Component and product level media management validation and optimization

Required qualifications:

Expertise in error correction coding (BCH, RS, and LDPC), information theory, and signal processing

Experience with NVM media characterization data analysis

Experience with NVM channel development and simulation

Knowledge in probability theory and statistical analysis

Understanding of NVM media device such as NAND flash memory or other new emerging memory technology

Familiar with FTL algorithms

Creative problem solving in enabling new NVM technologies

Proficiency in C/C++, MATLAB, and Python

Strong social skills and multi-functional partnership

MS degree in Electrical Engineering (or related fields) with 3+ years of industry experience or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering (or related fields).
