Summary

The ideal location for this role is East Hanover, NJ but remote work may be possible (there may be some exceptions based on legal entity registration). Please note that this role would not provide relocation as a result. If associate is remote, all home office expenses and any travel/lodging to specific to the East Hanover, NJ office for periodic live meetings will be at the employee's expense. The expectation of working hours and travel (domestic and/or international) will be defined by the hiring manager.

About the Role

The Senior Manager, Marketing Strategy will be responsible for supporting HCP (and some patient) marketing. This includes the delivery of insight driven tactics to support and drive customer impact. This individual will report to a brand director/ED and will partner closely with other HCP/Patient Marketers, and other strategic partners, to ensure that the Marketing Strategy and concepts are effectively orchestrated into the appropriate campaigns, tactics and experiences. The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for contributing to the identification, the testing, and validation of creative concepts/messaging architecture, and contributing to the creation of assets, i.e. CVA's (core visual aid), brochures and/or NPP. This role also can contribute to the integrated HCP Marketing HCP marketing plan, while serving as an interface with the Customer Engagement training and field leadership teams.

Major accountabilities:

  • Work effectively with the Marketing SPOC and the HCP Marketer to develop a cohesive and integrated brand marketing strategy and campaign grounded in customer insight for growth brands

  • Establish brand-specific expertise, and create engaging brand-centered content and concepts for adaption into personalized and tailored experiences

  • Share and embed knowledge on best practices to engage HCPs and change behavior across the full brand lifecycle

  • Execute upon best in class digital marketing strategies that align to brand goals, that are designed to maximize business results.

  • Ensure digital plans are appropriately implemented and optimized.

  • Foster a high performing team that proactively and effectively interfaces across key functions to achieve the product strategies and objectives

  • Collaborate effectively across strategic partners including CXPO, NPS, Communications and Engagement

  • Provide business requirements and input into selecting the agency (AoR) for brand marketing and partner with Operations to maximize agency relationship(s)

  • Identifies area market insights and opportunity via customer interactions

Key performance indicators:

  • Ensure full compliance to all regulatory requirements

  • Financial and budgeting efficiency

  • Key product and customer metrics are achieved

  • HCP insight and understanding is infused into product strategies and functional plans

What You'll Bring to the Role:

Education: Bachelor's Degree in business and/or biological science education with a concentration in marketing is preferred (MBA a plus)

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in pharmaceuticals, biotech, and or healthcare required

  • 2+ years of pharmaceutical, biotech or healthcare operational marketing experience or equivalent

  • Diverse experience outside of marketing (e.g. Customer-facing/sales experience, managed markets, operations, medical, etc.)

  • Demonstrated experience establishing and engaging key customer groups and other important internal and external stakeholders to gain insights to evolve brand strategy and communication

  • Proven track record of success, showing strong strategic thinking, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Proven track record of strong teamwork and collaboration

  • Strong project management experience and skills

  • Strong learning agility/growth mindset

Desirable Experience:

  • Some understanding of Specialty Pharmacy process

  • Experience in HCP and/or Patient Marketing

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $130,400.00 and $195,600.00 per year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/24 through 12/31/24, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period. Further, final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
