Your role at Baxter:

That's why, each day, we strive to advance the case for nutrient intervention to improve healthcare outcomes, across all patient care settings. Baxter's Clinical Nutrition Business in the US is a leader in Parenteral Nutrition (PN). Part of this success comes from sequential innovation which has resulted in numerous new PN drug and device launches in recent years.

  • The Sr. Marketing Manager for Nutrition Assessment & Therapy Development will be responsible for accelerating growth of Q-NRG+, an advanced metabolic monitor.

  • Additionally, this position will be responsible for leading the launch of a new nutrition measurement software. Finally, this position will also be responsible for working closely with other Marketers providing thought leadership to drive customer engagement through various clinical education and outreach initiatives that will span the entire Clinical Nutrition portfolio.

What you'll be doing:

Nutrition Assessment

  • Owns the P&L for Q-NRG+ and associated disposables, including financial planning

  • Sets the strategy for the growth of Q-NRG+ and disposable utilization and develops the tactical plan. Leads the sales and medical teams towards execution of that plan.

  • Serves as the Q-NRG+ expert at sales meetings, in the field, and in other customer-facing arenas

  • Makes go-/no-go decisions on market development initiatives. Leads a cross-functional team on implementation of aligned initiatives

  • Conducts new, or distills existing market research to identify purchase barriers and accelerate pathway to Q-NRG+ adoption

  • Manages demand and supply forecasts for multiple SKUs related to Q-NRG+

  • Develops the strategic launch plan for upcoming software launch, including segmentation, targeting and positioning. Serves as single point of accountability for launch success. Drives decision making on pricing. Develops promotional material and leads sales training. Measures and frequently reports key launch metrics to senior leadership.

  • Monitors competitor activity and develops deep customer insights, serving as the primary communication conduit to internal teams to inform strategies and initiatives

  • In partnership with Global Marketing, creates assets that support sales and drive product adoption and utilization

  • In partnership with Global Marketing, meaningfully contributes towards alliance management

  • Monitors metrics to ensure achievement of business objectives and provides regular performance summaries of activities and their effectiveness

Therapy Development

  • Leads and build our peer-to-peer marketing strategy and tactics to effectively and meaningfully educate and engage customers through various in-person and virtual channels, across entire Clinical Nutrition portfolio

  • Owns the speaker bureau, develops and executes new speaker program content, in close collaboration with Medical team. Fosters strong relationships with customers, society partners, and Key Opinion Leaders

  • Owns the congress/conference strategy including content and expert engagements

  • Leads and manages execution of marketing activities including, but not limited to, product promotion, digital transformation initiatives, social media marketing, and web content across the entire Clinical Nutrition portfolio

  • Drives marketing collateral/labeling through all relevant legal and regulatory approval processes through collaboration with relevant cross-functional teams across the entire Clinical Nutrition portfolio

  • Ensures alignment of campaigns and all messaging across channels

  • Effectively tracks and manages the entire Nutrition marketing budget, including monthly reporting

What you'll bring:

  • BS/BA required; MBA preferred.

  • Minimum of 7 years marketing and/or sales experience in the medical device or drug industry

  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical and medical device regulatory requirements

  • Strong project management skills, attention to detail, execution, and follow-through

  • Proven track-record in Marketing and Strategy

  • Ability to grasp clinical information and convey to others

  • Excellent communication (oral, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated track record of high performance

  • Strong analytical skills with strategic and data-driven thinking

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $136,000 - $187,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and/or long-term incentives.
