This role forms a vital position within the International Marketing Team at Canada Goose. Act as the brand custodian, both externally and internally - own full responsibility for brand health across international markets, working closely and cross functionally with the rest of the marketing department (PR, Retail & Wholesale, Digital & Community)
Localize global brand campaigns by creating, managing and executing a 360 marketing strategy for multiple key markets across Europe.
Lead brand media and event planning with the support of global and local agencies
Act as the integrated marketing partner for the international and global marketing team
Partner with and support international distributors to develop local brand awareness and affinity
Maximise ROI in close collaboration with the commercial team while building brand awareness through 360 amplification of content created for specific markets and activations
Ensure optimal value creation from external suppliers (such as media agencies) by developing and managing relationships and expectations.
Manage budgets, analysis and reporting, including seasonal reports on sales figures, engagement and ROI.
Manage and train the Marketing Specialist, including the completion of performance reviews and personal development goals.
Minimum of 8 years' experience in marketing communication for a consumer goods company (preferred luxury or fashion back ground - agency and cooperate sides are a plus)
Relevant education from a business / marketing background is preferred (Art will also be accepted)
Good knowledge of the media landscape across focus markets (UK, FR, DE & IT)
Culturally curious and with a finger on the pulse of current trends, visions and industry movements
Exceptional knowledge of principles, practices and techniques for market research and strategies.
Experience and appetite for new media incl. Social formats
Strong analytical and data skills - ability to analyse data and report findings
Outstanding communication, negotiation, project/event management and organisation skills
Ability to work cross functionally within a flexible and supportive team in order to achieve common goals
Experience in leading and managing external partners - incl. but not limited to cooperation partners, media and event agencies and influencers
English language essential; any additional languages advantageous
