The Sr. Marketing Manager is focused on results and achieving desired segment-specific marketing goals and benchmarks by developing and executing marketing plans, programs and campaigns in both online/digital and offline environments. This role is responsible for planning and implementing go-to-market strategies for provider clients. Primary responsibilities include developing positioning and core content in coordination with internal subject matter experts, and using that content and messaging to deliver effective campaigns and programs that generate demand for sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate for this position will be able to:

  • Achieve desired segment-specific marketing goals and benchmarks by developing and executing marketing plans, programs, campaigns and supporting content used in both online/digital and offline environments

  • Create effective product positioning, value proposition and messaging for assigned product service lines and verticals by gathering market intelligence and actively soliciting input from subject matter experts including sales, operations and the market development team to understand the core business

  • Develop a broad range of content in support of lead generation and brand awareness activities in coordination with other marketing team members, including: case studies, white papers, sales enablement tools, speaker presentations and webinars, newsletters, articles for trade publications and blogs, tradeshow content and planning

  • Develop lead-generating digital content and campaigns for assigned products and verticals, including creating and maintaining web copy and developing blogs and email/newsletter content used for content-driven nurture campaigns. Conduct digital advertising campaigns via social media and other paid publishers, search engine marketing and search engine optimization programs. Coordinate with digital marketing strategists on all digital activities

  • Provide sales support by participating in sales team meetings, coordinating sales training, and delivering sales tools including fact sheets, brochures, and client-facing presentations

  • Own and communicate marketing results and effectiveness of campaign and marketing programs by effectively monitoring and reporting on metrics and taking corrective actions to achieve marketing objectives

  • Manage relationships with creative agencies, public relations agencies, independent writers, and other outside vendors as needed

  • Research market data and gather competitive information to facilitate positioning and messaging strategies

Minimum Requirements

  • 5+ years B2B, product/service and segment marketing experience

  • Healthcare industry experience required. Provider experience required.

  • Location: Office-based role in King of Prussia, PA, Nashville, TN, or Vancouver BC with ability to work remotely

  • Occasional travel is required, some of that will be to Vancouver BC if US based (passport required)

Critical Skills

  • Experience within the healthcare landscape. Strong understanding of healthcare provider marketplace

  • Experience in and understanding of core aspects of B2B product/service marketing

  • Experience in content marketing including excellent writing skills and experience in both long form (blogs, white papers, collateral) and short form (digital advertisements) writing

  • Experience with closed loop marketing and the ability to build and execute marketing strategies that make an impact on sales pipeline

  • Strong teamwork skills including demonstrated ability to function in a matrixed team environment without formal reporting relationships

  • Ability to work on and track multiple projects, driving ideas from concept to completion through superior organizational and project management skills

  • Ability to work independently while providing updates on project status to supervisor and internal clients

  • Experience working with a field sales organization and supporting a dedicated segment and/or product line

  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel


  • 4-year degree in marketing and/or business

The Sr. Marketing Manager drives the communication strategy and execution for assigned Spanish Trade titles (adult fiction and non-fiction.) This consists of developing marketing and publicity plans for books across different genres and imprints; including digital and traditional marketing, author appearances, book tours and special events. He/she manages the production of marketing pieces, print and digital, including video assets. Stewards digital marketing channels and marketing tactics, such as sales funnels, email, blogs/websites, social media, and online advertising. The ideal person for this role is creative energetic and has a positive attitude. They have a high degree of attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple projects on tight deadlines. Responsibilities * Generate and execute marketing and publicity plans for 30+ titles a year in consultation with product owners, to reach target audiences, raise awareness and generate demand. * Plan and execute all author appearances including book-tours, local appearances and special events. Secures media outlets, including broadcast, print and online. Writes press releases, pitch letters, and other promotional pieces related to an event/tour. Briefs, equips and accompanies authors on interviews as needed. * Oversee and direct all digital marketing tactics for assigned titles across all channels, including promotional emails, newsletters, blogs, social media, AMS and online advertising. * Pursue marketing, design and platform innovation that delivers business goals * Direct design, development, and maintenance of the marketing aspects of HCCP's Spanish website(s) including landing pages, lead collection, and banner ads. * Build and maintain analytics dashboards and KPIs for the channel * Create print, digital and audiovisual marketing assets (online ads, emails, websites, videos, graphics, memes, etc.) for internal and external email lists, blogs, affiliates, paid search, and social media marketing. * Speak into digital marketing strategy for key HCCP Spanish resource products, fostering a collaborative environment with the product managers, editorial, and sales teams in the early stages of launch planning. * Be a "best practices" resource for digital tactics and direct-response marketing, keeping abreast of emerging technologies and online/social/email successes; report findings and all campaign results to marketing team and help integrate into existing and future campaigns. * Manage email execution, including design, testing, and scheduling of emails and newsletters. * Coordinate social listening initiatives and keyword identification (metadata optimization) for assigned resources (as well as serving as a "best practices" resource for other verticals within HCCP Spanish). * Other related responsibilities, as required. * 5-6 years' experience in marketing, publicity, or another communications field, preferably related to content marketing and/or entertainment. * Experience working with Latino and/or International target audiences/markets. * Experience in a developing marketing plans preferred. * Experience working with high profile talent (authors, artists, etc.) preferred. * Working knowledge of direct response marketing tactics and design elements. * Experience with content-oriented online/social marketing. * Well-versed in both traditional and digital marketing campaigns. * Familiarity with CRM systems, email/interactive marketing software like Silverpop, WordPress, social media dashboards, and other digital marketing solutions.
