The Opportunity:

The Senior Marketing Manager will lead efforts to market instructional programs for students and professional learning programs for educators that drive program enrollment and growth in accounts within the Northeast region, focused on New York City and surrounding areas. (You do not need to be located in NY)

You Are:

An experienced marketer who is as comfortable developing both effective marketing strategy and compelling content as you are building and executing multi-channel campaigns. You can build and maintain successful relationships equally as well with school administrators as field leadership teams. You have excellent time-management skills and thrive in a deadline-driven environment. Your experience includes B2B and B2C marketing strategy development and execution.

The Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with operations leadership and client to develop B2B and B2C marketing strategy for student and educator programs

  • Lead development of multi-channel marketing strategy and execution of student and school recruitment efforts

  • Develops business cases for marketing programs and make recommendations on marketing tactics; creates buy-in and consensus from key stakeholders

  • Outcomes oriented; adept at analyzing performance data to optimize campaigns and make data informed decisions to achieve key enrollment and revenue goals

  • Strong sense of creativity and concept development, as well as problem-solving skills

  • Project manage and coordinate all parts of program registration with operations and IT team, including registration site development, content/communications creation, list management, and email campaign design and deployment

  • Develop and foster relationships with multiple stakeholders, including navigating and managing key client and internal leadership team expectations

  • Lead messaging strategy and development of B2C and B2B content (marcomm, collateral, email, video) that align with the Catapult Learning and/or school brands

  • Design and deploy marketing emails, organize and manage distribution lists, manage campaign schedules

  • Create landing pages and maintain website content

  • Own campaign analytics and identify opportunities to improve engagement and conversion

The Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communication or related field required

  • 5-7+ years' experience; combination of digital, B2B, and B2C is desirable

  • Proficiency with email automation, marketing platforms, and CRM is required (Microsoft Dynamics and HubSpot experience is helpful)

  • Ability to manage highly complex initiatives, including managing multiple, high visibility stakeholder expectations

  • Proficiency with MS Excel, PowerPoint; WordPress experience helpful

  • Be technically savvy with the operational "know how" to work on different platforms and applications

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills

  • Must have strong project management and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Must possess high level of initiative, leadership, and problem-solving skills

Qualifications Qualifications - External * Applications must have a portfolio link on a resume or attached writing samples. * Requires a BA/BS degree; 5 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
