A Day in the Life
The Sr Market Development Program Manager will collaborate cross functionally to drive the global expansion of the market with the near-term focus on developed markets. The Sr Market Development Program Manager is responsible for managing major programs for the Respiratory & Monitoring Solutions Market Development team to drive increased user adoption and growth of Medtronic technologies for addressing perioperative neurocognitive disorders across the globe.
In this role, you will work collaboratively across the business with functional partners including Global Marketing, Regional Marketing, R&D, Finance, Medical/Clinical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Legal, Research and Development, and Information Technology. You will partner with multiple stakeholders, especially Global & Regional Marketing colleagues and healthcare providers, in designing, obtaining feedback and measuring success of programs. These programs will encompass complex pilots for new marketing strategies, cross-BU initiatives, market development plan generation and other programs requiring significant program management expertise and business acumen.
Manage development, piloting and end customer feedback for significant Market Development programs encompassing mid, long-term and break through initiatives to increase user adoption, market penetration and driving sales growth.
Lead and facilitate cross-functional teams consisting of Global Marketing, Regional Marketing, R&D, Finance, Medical/Clinical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs, Legal, Research and Development, and Information Technology functions to pilot and implement major initiatives.
Lead teams to define and execute work streams, project plans, roles and responsibilities, contracts, budgets, success metrics, and communications for major initiatives.
Manage third party partners to deliver programs.
Define periodic dashboards/reports for functional stakeholders and leadership to enable effective monitoring and management of objectives.
Develop investment thesis for identified programs and projects.
Travel requirements range from 30%-40%
Must Have: Minimum Requirements:
BS required; MBA highly preferred
Minimum of 7+ years of experience with large program and project team leadership required.
Nice to Have:
Medical device marketing experience
Demonstrated clinical acumen across the care continuum
Marketing strategy and program execution experience required especially with an emphasis on clinical society engagement
Experience working with commercial partners with direct and OEM channels
A solid understanding of the healthcare continuum across the globe.
Naturally curious with a demonstrated track record of learning and using that knowledge to advance the business goals.
