Description:Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is a recognized designer, developer and manufacturer of precision engagement aerospace and defense systems for the U.S. and allied militaries. This is Lockheed Martin's lead business unit for research development and production of manned and unmanned ground-vehicle systems, electro-optical and smart munitions systems and is a pioneer in the field of versatile, high-performance missile and rocket technology.
We are currently looking for an experienced professional in Grand Prairie, TX to work in the Production, Planning and Control Organization. This position will be responsible for daily coordination with production/process engineering/program liaisons to status turnkey off-load builds for production/tooling and PDRR contracts. Daily communication with vendors is critical to ensure delivery of completed builds to support schedules. Requires travel to vendor locations as needed.

Ability to obtain a security clearance
Demonstrated proficient knowledge of computer systems, databases, and programs
Possess knowledge of lean manufacturing
Demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, and multitasking skills
Must be able to work outside of the normal operating hours, as required
Knowledge of Material Management and Accounting System (MMAS)
Inventory Control and material handling knowledge
Black Belt trained / certified
Ability to understand engineering drawings and parts lists
APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
