Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

Piper Companies is currently seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer for an opportunity in Lancaster, Pennsylvania (PA), to join a contract manufacturer for the medical device industry.

Responsibilities of the Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop manufacturing quotes, designs, and work instructions, acting as a subject matter expert for manufacturing processes

• Drive implementation of manufacturing processes requiring qualification/validation, managing projects and process innovation

• Develop and maintain fabrication and assembly methods, estimate manufacturing costs, and conduct design reviews for accuracy and integrity of products

• Train employees, troubleshoot production equipment, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain communication with manufacturing for process improvements

Qualifications of the Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

• 7+ years of hands on experience in stainless or titanium metal processing (precision cutting, machining, bending, welding, & cleaning) in a GMP environment

• Highly skilled in CAD/CAM software, CNC programming, and project management

• Experienced in developing, implementing, and maintaining methods & routings in the fabrication and assembly of parts, components, sub-assemblies, and final medical devices

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering is required

Compensation for the Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

• Salary Range: $90,000 - $100,000
