WSP is currently initiating a search for a Sr. Manager Rail Services Development for our Phildadelphia office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Identify opportunities to contribute to achieving growth initiative objectives with new and existing clients in the Transit & Rail sector.
Collaborate with technical teams in developing innovations, enhancing skills, researching market sector needs, engaging in client outreach and maintaining strong client relationships
Lead and/or support proposals and pursuits; assist in evaluating teaming partners and competitor firms in the Transit & Rail markets
Develop innovative strategiesfor Transit & Rail strategic plan/studies, master planning, facilites planning, and transit oriented development projects
Deliver projects using WSP systems for quality, project management, techncial review and verificiation

15 plus years rail transportation planning & development experience
Bachelor's Degree with concentration in any of the following fields: Engineering, Planning, or Transportation
Proven ability to manage large, complex railroad and transit planning activiites and development & implemenation of infrastructure improvement projects
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
Master's Degree in Business, Finance or Economics
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to clearly define and prioritize key attributes of multi-modal transportation networks including intercity rail, commuter rail, transit (rail & bus) accompanied by an understanding of 21st century innovative mobility solutions.
