WSP is currently initiating a search for a Sr. Manager Rail Services Development for our Phildadelphia office.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities to contribute to achieving growth initiative objectives with new and existing clients in the Transit & Rail sector.

  • Collaborate with technical teams in developing innovations, enhancing skills, researching market sector needs, engaging in client outreach and maintaining strong client relationships

  • Lead and/or support proposals and pursuits; assist in evaluating teaming partners and competitor firms in the Transit & Rail markets

  • Develop innovative strategiesfor Transit & Rail strategic plan/studies, master planning, facilites planning, and transit oriented development projects

  • Deliver projects using WSP systems for quality, project management, techncial review and verificiation

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 15 plus years rail transportation planning & development experience

  • Bachelor's Degree with concentration in any of the following fields: Engineering, Planning, or Transportation

  • Proven ability to manage large, complex railroad and transit planning activiites and development & implemenation of infrastructure improvement projects

  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures

  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Business, Finance or Economics

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Ability to clearly define and prioritize key attributes of multi-modal transportation networks including intercity rail, commuter rail, transit (rail & bus) accompanied by an understanding of 21st century innovative mobility solutions.
