Title: Sr. Manager, Test Engineering
Role Description:
We are currently looking for a talented, experienced Software Quality Engineering leader with leadership/communication skills and a passion for testing software for our growing organization. As a Sr. Manager, you will have an impactful contribution in the delivery of Salesforce Strategy & Operations. Testing solutions that optimize the sales & service teamâs workflows and help drive efficiency. The Salesforce Test Engineering team supports Salesforce development team members at all levels and serves as a go-to resource for all Salesforce test best practices. You will be utilizing modern methodologies and open-source tools, and will be empowered to push the boundaries of Quality Engineering as we seek to deliver applications that will directly and immediately impact the experience of our teams and our patients
Core Responsibilities:
Overall leadership for software quality across the enterprise
Lead Salesforce testing team supporting all projects and deliverables
Assist with establishing the testing practice for Salesforce test engineering team
Participate in scope definition, requirements analysis, functional and technical design, application build, product configuration, unit testing, and production deployment
Provide technical expertise and ownership in the diagnosis and resolution of issues, including the determination and provision of workaround solution or escalation to service owners
Work with the Development team, QA and DevOps engineers and Product owners in both agile and waterfall methodologies.
Document and interact with business and technology stakeholders / team members as necessary
Provide testing strategy and leadership including the implementation of automated testing frameworks
Define and implement metrics and reporting at all phases of SDLC to track quality of software product delivery
Supervise growing QA team on testing practices to ensure rapid and accurate completion of assigned tasks
Support testing deliverables on assigned team along with deliverables of Salesforce test engineering team

Partner with technical team to bring releases to life and ensure they meet our standards
Drive bug prioritization and work cross-functionally with Product and Engineering Managers
Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to explain and verify defects

What are we looking for?
Strong hands-on leadership and analytical problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt in a fast paced environment
Strong communication skills, both written and oral
Self-motivated and creative problem solver with ability to consider alternative and diverse perspectives
Application testing experience with hands-on designing, testing complex applications leading into zero/minimum prod issues. Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into test cases and through to implementation
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
10+ years testing Salesforce applications on Cloud
7+ years of Management experience
Extensive experience testing API testing and automation
10+ yearsâ experience with automation testing development for Salesforce products
Proficiency with one or more of the following programming languages/frameworks
6+ yearsâ experience with testing tools like Cypress, SOAP UI, Ready API, open source tools
10+ yearsâ experience with Test Case Preparation and Execution
Excellent Communication, Time Management, Reporting and Analytical Skills
Use of standards for automation testing, documentation, release and configuration management
Takes a Design First approach to test automation.
Experience working in an Agile/Devops environment.
Experience working with source code and CI tools and processes
Familiarity with Azure DevOps, JIRA, TestRail is preferred
Sound knowledge of QA methodology and Agile frameworks
Strong team ethics and team player
Focus and desire to deliver high quality service.
Ability to manage deadlines and deliverables to ensure timely bug fixes
Ability to communicate clearly to stakeholders
Experience with application testing in cloud environments
US work authorization
