Job Summary:

As a Sr. Manager, Technical Learning and Development Program Management focused on leading and executing Learning & Development (L&D)-related Programs, you will be responsible for enabling, producing or supporting learning experiences that accelerate the growth and development of Enterprise Technology talent within the DDAT (Digital, Data, Analytics and Technology) organization, and that are accessible to colleagues of all abilities. You will lead or engage in the lifecycle of two or more programs and/or technical tracks within them, while also consulting or contributing to other efforts and functions within the Tech Ops team. This may include diagnosing needs, developing appropriate solutions, or driving measurable results. A significant portion of the role includes delivering on learning roadmaps for colleagues, and managing and communicating about the courses, curriculums, or programs available to them. You will interact with various senior-level partners; the ability to influence and lead change and ensure strategic alignment of business insight and leadership skills in all programs will be paramount to your success.

  • Partner with DDAT Leaders, HR Business Partners, Learning & Development CoE members, and other Talent-focused experts and business leaders on learning initiatives and priorities. Understand functional and organizational business objectives and assess learning needs. Identify, design and/or deliver professional development or technical capability-building experiences to be consistent with our culture, talent strategy and business needs, while also ensuring any learning assets, programs and recommended resources are accessible and inclusive.

  • Manage, execute, and deliver projects, learning paths or curriculum for technology professionals that support up-skilling and talent development goals. Contribute to a best-in-class talent development strategy, participate in cross-functional L&D delivery efforts, and support efforts to define, expand, consolidate and/or report on Enterprise DDAT L&D programs either included within the Continuous Learning Academy or other branded products within the DDAT L&D Portfolio.

  • Create, publish, and communicate learning and talent development resources, processes, and information relevant to various DDAT roles and positions, including career paths and rubrics. Record or edit digital L&D content videos or recordings; repurpose presentation material into targeted sets of L&D content; write technical abstracts of video learning content and course details. Support methods for organizing, maintaining, and archiving digital learning materials, and promote learning content on internal digital forums.

  • Support the deployment, adoption, and support of talent development tools; champion functionality that will support and drive the intended growth and career development goals of individual colleagues and leaders; devise or ensure adoption approaches and training strategies for these tools that are inclusive and accessible to all colleagues.

  • Lead or participate in assigned Tech Ops project workstreams and work with Digital leadership to execute, measure, and report on the relative success of learning priorities and initiatives, including change efforts that support or enable our L&D objectives and key results.

  • Demonstrate the highest levels of teamwork, responsiveness, and accountability; inspire teamwork and adaptability by leading by example.

  • Drive for results by holding self and others accountable for achieving best outcomes. Track issues, risks, best practices, or success metrics, manage expectations, and provide regular updates to stakeholders and Business Leaders as appropriate.

  • Establish and maintain business and technical knowledge, with respect to the skills and capabilities required to deliver effective, accessible, and inclusive Digital L&D products, programs, services, processes, and systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience engaged in Learning & Development, Technology Talent Development or Colleague Change Management efforts, or similar related-initiatives, and partnering with the leaders and teams within a Technology engineering organization or environment.

  • 2+ years of experience performing coaching and mentorship, and demonstrating expert facilitation while leading large meetings, delivering presentations, hosting lunch-and-learns or leading training or knowledge transfer sessions.

  • Proven ability to track, manage and communicate metrics, KPIs, OKRs, initiative progress, execution approaches and contingencies at levels appropriate to stakeholders and leaders.

  • 5+ years' experience within the full end-to-end lifecycle planning, executing, and ensuring quality delivery of large software engineering projects, following Agile methodology and practices, either as a Technical Program Manager, Solution or Delivery Train Engineer, Engineering Manager, Software or Quality Engineer, or in another technical delivery role.

  • Proven ability to develop and manage effective partnerships with engineering leaders and stakeholders in a consultative role, who can drive planning and execution.

  • Demonstrated skills in creating senior-level communications or talking points, tactical and operational planning and management, leadership, influencing without authority and negotiation skills.

Must be able to travel up to 10% nationwide annually.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in the healthcare industry or in a healthcare technology organization.

  • Comfortable presenting, operating, and collaborating within a remote and hybrid work environment; experience presenting and facilitating with large groups.

  • Passion for building and helping others build accessible products, processes, and solutions; including the ability to evaluate the relative accessibility of learning or presentation assets and identify gaps and improvement needs.

  • Ability to train and coach colleagues on various accessibility/A11y topics, promote and share the importance of A11y/inclusive and accessible approaches and understand the overlap between user experience, learner experience and A11y.

  • Knowledge of or exposure to assistive technologies (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver).

  • Technical writing experience or knowledge of ADKAR/ProSci change management preferred.

  • Experience with SABA or other Learning Management System

  • Experience with Learning and Development lifecycle and concepts such as Bloom's taxonomy, creating learning objectives and the ADDIE Model of course development.

Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Learning & Development, Organizational Psychology, Change Management, or a related discipline or equivalent work experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$136,217.50 - $267,800.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company's equity award program.
