• Accounting for income taxes

• Prepare and review tax account reconciliations & supporting documentation for financial reporting: maintaining accurate GL tax accounting

• Federal, and some State tax

• Analysis and preparation of federal tax filings (1120,5471, 1042, 1630).

• ASC 740 and FIN 48 - prepare schedules and required disclosures. Detailed VA Analysis

• Internal Controls - design, execute and maintain operational and SOX controls and related documentation.

• Audits

• Manage and support domestic tax audits

• Research

• Monitor changes to US and foreign tax laws and regulations, assess impact and communicate recommendations to tax & financial leadership.

• Research

• Monitor changes in sales, use and property tax laws, assess impact and communicate recommendations to tax leadership.

• Liaison

• Interface with accounting, finance, treasury, HR, legal, and other internal customers to ensure appropriate management of tax reporting and risk management for the company.

• Tax Calendar- maintain and update quarterly and annual calendars.

Qualifications

• • Bachelor's Degree (B.S.), Masters in Taxation or Accounting, CPA desirable.
• • 6 to 8 years of experience, either corporate and/or public accounting experience.
• • Experience with tax software

• Oracle, One-stream, CorpTax, tax return prep, and research applications.

• • Tax research experience.
• • Effective communication skills - executives, peers, subordinates
• • Tax audit management experience - federal, state, statutory
• • Experience in leading major projects.
• • Leadership presence for credibility, influencing others, and must have a can-do approach with promotion potential.
