In the U.S., Agios markets a first-in-class pyruvate kinase (PK) activator for the treatment of hemolytic anemia in adults with PK deficiency. Building on the company's leadership in the field of cellular metabolism, Agios is advancing a robust clinical pipeline of investigational medicines with active and planned programs in alpha- and beta-thalassemia, sickle cell disease, pediatric PK deficiency and MDS-associated anemia. Agios Pharmaceuticals is searching for a dynamic Sr Manager, Systems Engineer to join our growing IT team. We want someone who cares about this important work, and who's driven to connect to our mission of helping these patient communities. The Systems Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing ServiceNow platform.

This position will work closely with business partners to provide oversight, support and guidance on the implementation and support of functional and technical requirements within the enterprise ServiceNow ITSM solution. This also includes administering and growing the ServiceNow platform for increased use and efficiency around the organization. What you will do:

Manage and maintain the ServiceNow platform to ensure its smooth operation Configure and enhance core application including, but not limited to: Service Catalog, Service Portal, Knowledge Base, Change Management, Dashboards, and Reporting Load, manipulate, and maintain data between ServiceNow and other systems Participate in deployment of features and ServiceNow releases Make recommendations and participate in implementing ServiceNow requirements and solutions Act as primary contact for ServiceNow software and service provider relationships Define and carry out technical testing, deployment plans, and transition to L1/L2 support Provide architectural controls and impact analysis for new requirements. Performing design, configuration, development, testing, and deployment activities for our applications including ServiceNow.

Articulate design considerations, trade-offs, benefits, and recommendations for technical architectures with scalability and supportability in mind What you bring: Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow administration Strong, up to date, working knowledge of ServiceNow modules and applications: Service Catalog(s), Change, Incident, Problem, Knowledge, User and Asset Management Successful problem solving and debugging skills.

Ability to analyze, trouble shoot and resolve issues quickly in the ServiceNow instances Good listening skills with ability to make timely well-informed decisions. Ability to translate business requirements and architectures into system designs Willingness and ability to be a "hands-on" contributor as needed Experience with Identity and Access Management programs and associated technologies a plus Knowledge of software validation practices and GxP operating procedures What we will give you: Deliberate Development.
