JOB SUMMARY:

The Sr. Manager, Supplier Management and Wholesale Operations is a combined role responsible for the performance of suppliers used in 7-Eleven dedicated distribution centers as well as the performance of thirty wholesale distributor managed divisions. The Sr. Manager will manage a team responsible for the onboarding of suppliers, supplier relationships, supplier compliance, as well as designing a program to manage and improve supplier performance. This role will also monitor the performance of national Wholesale Distributors by division and have primary responsibility to identify, root cause, and correct issues negatively impacting 7-Eleven stores.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Responsible for overall supplier relationships including supplier performance to key metrics such as on time and in full for ~400 suppliers with an annual spend of $1.2B.

  • Responsible for supplier onboarding, supplier agreements, indemnification, and establishing EDI capabilities.

  • Responsible for establishing supplier score cards and developing future programs for accessing penalties. These penalties are forecasted to be a multi-million-dollar revenue stream into the self-distribution network.

  • Clearly communicate 7-Eleven expectations to suppliers and adjust the requirements to changing business needs.

  • Tracks supplier performance including shorts, overages, agreed to code life and ensures accountability and corrective action when performance does not meet requirements.

  • Take part in supplier dispute resolution. Maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure all parties are focused on achieving goals designed to support store profitability.

  • Provide insight and leadership for various negotiations impacting suppliers and wholesale distribution partners.

  • Tracks performance for 30 wholesale distributor distribution centers including fill rate and on time deliveries to stores for a $13B annual wholesale spend.

  • Escalation path for all regional issues that can't be resolved locally. Report on issue, root cause, and issue resolution. Coordinate with field logistics teams on communication.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with various Division President's for wholesale distributors to aid in performance management and issue resolution.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

EDUCATION: Bachelors/4 Yr Degree Preferred (in lieu of Degree 15 years of experience)

YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE: 8+ years

YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE: 5+ years
