As a Senior Manager, Strategic Marketing you will collaborate with colleagues who are passionate about understanding our markets, customers, and competitors and using this insight to help develop marketing plans that drive growth. With this role, TE is creating a new marketing capability and will require an entrepreneurial mindset.

The Senior Manager, Strategic Marketing will serve as the subject matter expert for the Industrial Solutions Segment on key marketing projects across four business units. This role will utilize market research, analytics, customer insights, competitive intelligence and business plans to identify priority campaign segments, audience targeting, lead prioritization and marketing-supported revenue forecasting, helping the marketing team drive more impactful programs.

The preferred candidate will have a strong background in strategic marketing including product/portfolio management, demand generation and revenue forecasting as well as experience in data methodologies, system and tools. This role reports to the VP, Marketing for Industrial Solutions.

Short Description

Serve as leading expert for key growth initiatives for the segment, including priority focus on small and medium sized customers. Collaborate with all business units globally, where three business units are headquartered in EMEA.

Build a strong understanding of key products, applications and industry trends impacting the Industrial Solutions businesses. Provide market intelligence by combining external market research to bring outside-in insights with internal data to assess performance or behavior that shape marketing direction and business decisions.

Bring market and audience insight, customer white space, and competitive analysis together with application and product understanding to support development of global and regional demand generation campaigns, eCommerce strategies and product marketing.

Understand and leverage market trends, customer segments, buying behaviors, preferences and influences and how they can be used to guide marketing activities across the team.

Implement and manage a robust and disciplined approach for gathering customer insights and intelligence, identifying best practices, and develop a disciplined approach for measuring and monitoring key KPIs and user activities that brings this insight back into campaign planning, digital strategies, pricing reviews and portfolio planning.

Leverage insights to acquire new white space customers and increase marketing's revenue impact. Collaborate with stakeholders to improve TE's marketing systems and reporting capabilities across the business units.

What your background should look like:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field 7-10 years' experience in developing B2B strategic marketing for industrial technology products

5+ years in a global role with strong cross-functional experience. Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience with ROI analysis and attribution.

Experience in B2B and Electronics as part of a multi-national business preferred

Experience building ad hoc communities and coalitions to achieve business results

They support the creation and implementation of business plans, strategy, and initiatives to meet customer's and business needs. Role Overview As a member of the Corporate Strategy team, you will help shape TE's portfolio composition and competitive strategy by being an advisor to the CEO and the General Managers. The Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy will work directly with Directors of Corporate Strategy to create shareholder value by helping address the most important strategic questions across TE Connectivity, including: * Support the Business Segments and Business Units in developing strategies that drive above-market organic and inorganic growth, working closely with leadership to ensure both cross-functional involvement and real-time input as the external environment (e.g., technology, customer needs, regulations, competitors, etc.) evolves. * Manage projects to help identify new growth platforms, growth opportunities within business units, and across businesses - through the identification of attractive market spaces, determining what it takes to win, assessing competitive position and business models, and then helping the organizing to align on the strategic direction and execution plan * Ensure that the business strategies he/she develops clearly articulate the business choices, are well-defined, lay out talent and resource requirements, and are implementable * Successful strategy delivery should result in industry-leading growth and profit margins. * Identify, synthesize and communicate key trends across industries, segments, regions, and competitors. * Help support the strategic planning process and deepen strategic capabilities in the organization. * Support research and analysis for identifying and assessing inorganic opportunities. * Drive change - designing and implementing projects to execute on strategic objectives * Support and enhance talent management for the strategy organization, including talent acquisition, development, and retention objectives. Ensure segmentation is robust, actionable, and simple for the business to understand. * Analyzing industry structure, business models, competitive dynamics, and market attractiveness and its likely evolution to inform strategy development and priority setting * Bringing expertise and techniques (e.g., scenario planning, wargaming) designed to identify and make better decisions under uncertainty.
