What you will be doing

We are committed to providing all the necessary training, solutions, and tools for our associates to deliver on our purpose. We continuously upgrade and experiment with new initiatives in our in-store and retail operations solution and platform to support our associate and customer experience.

Main responsibilities

  • Execute the vision and strategy by leading the business plan solutions and roadmaps, developing and managing the processes for implementation.

  • Lead the development of the customer and associate experience

  • Manage all components of the roadmap from start to finish across all solution lines

  • Create acceptance and support for the solution vision across the customer base and with key partners

  • Work with internal (HR, Tech, Engineering, Operations) and external (vendors, suppliers) teams to create and build breakthrough solutions.

  • Define creative, high quality, and clear solutions based on roadmap strategy and vision

  • Translate the customer and associate experience to detailed, crisp user stories that can be used in the solution vision

  • Translate the customer and associate challenges into detailed, crisp business requirements used to create specifications and architecture solutions for each application.

  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, associate experience, performance, and operational support load

  • Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impair the team's ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals

  • Monitor financial results, continuously assess factors impacting performance, review opportunities and take appropriate actions to improve KPIs

The salary range is $95,400 to $123,900 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation Pay (accrued based on hours worked) or Flexible Time Of, paid holidays (9days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401K eligibility). Associates in this position are also eligible for a quarterly bonus.

  • 8+ years of leadership experience in solution, tech, retail industry

  • Proven success in scaling processes, systems, solutions and people to meet objectives

  • Bachelor's degree with a technical discipline

  • 5+ years of software platform or SaaS solution management experience

  • Experience working on at least one of: large scale transactional systems, distributed systems, big data systems, ML tools, or cloud services

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver solutions and projects

  • Experience defining multi-year solution strategies and executing on associated roadmaps

  • Experience coordinating requirements across customer groups

  • Broad technical breadth and depth including familiarity with Machine Learning, streaming big data, web services, and back-end application infrastructure

  • Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results

  • Passion for creating innovative solutions for consumers in households

  • Experience delivering innovative software solutions

  • Comfortable assessing and taking risks

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions

  • Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with internal and external partners

  • Experience with developer/scientist evangelism.

  • High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.

  • History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one's sleeves to get the job done.
