Senior Manager, Revenue Reporting & Analytics

This is a strategic role responsible for supporting Corporate Revenue initiatives involving ability to identify and provide reporting solutions for key revenue analytics provided to executive management and used in SEC reporting. The successful candidate will have the ability to combine technical analytical skills with business acumen to interpret what the data represents. This position is located in San Jose, CA

In this role, you will

  • Be responsible for strategic engagement with key members from IT, Finance, Marketing and Systems Analysts to develop and maintain reporting capabilities required by the Corporate Revenue team

  • Manage preparation of monthly and quarterly revenue reporting deliverables including trended revenue analytics, ASP bridges, and quarterly metrics reviews with business teams

  • Create revenue-specific reports from Power BI dashboards and other reports needed for critical technical accounting analyses such as standalone selling price, distinct analyses and deferred revenue reporting disclosures

  • Use your technical expertise to assess existing revenue analytics and reporting processes and create reporting solutions for improved efficiency and effectiveness

  • Coordinate with SAP systems analysts on creation of SAP queries used to support reserves, deferral estimates and deferred revenue

  • Liaison with Internal Audit and external auditors to address Sox controls related to reporting tools

  • Assist Senior Revenue Director and VP Corporate Controller with ad hoc reporting requests

  • Directly manage Reporting Analyst and build revenue reporting team to scale with growth of the company

In this role, you'll need

Qualifications:

  • Technically strong in data visualization tools (Power Pivot, Power BI, etc.)

  • Knowledge of MS Sequel and SQL Query language

  • Programming skills (ie, Python)

  • Familiar with SAP ERP and SAP BI environments (COPA, HANA, etc.)

  • Strategic in defining metrics and creating reporting solutions

  • Knowledge of US GAAP and P/L (price, volume, gross margin)

  • Business acumen and ability and desire to learn Align's market and levers

  • Demonstrated ability to work in fast paced environment and meet deadlines

  • Experience managing and building teams

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in CS/Information Science or Accounting/Finance with MIS or MBA; minimum of 7 years professional experience in Finance/Accounting with emphasis in Data Analytics role. 3-5 years management experience.

In this role, you will be one of the key member of the web marketing team driving the success of Splunk website and conversions. You will work with other marketing departments, IT, product management, sales enablement, to define analytics requirements, launch A/B tests, create on-demand reports, and develop and execute on all the analytics related operations. Responsibilities: * Participate in the business and strategy discussions, creating roadmaps and priorities and regularly reporting progress to key stakeholders * Design, drive and manage individual Analytics reports, end-to-end testing, from initiation to insight generation and presentation of results * Deliver detailed and actionable web analytics reports and strategic recommendations, provide interpretation, guidance and recommendations to aid marketing decision-making and drive business performance. * Ensure analytics processes are scalable, repeatable, effective and meet stakeholder expectations * Use various web analytics strategy and tools, including user and page level analytics, account based measurements (ABM), click tracking, heat maps, lead and conversion tracking * Contribute to the website personalization strategy based on Industries, Geo-location and user behavior * Plan and execute Splunk's A/B and multivariate testing across multiple channels and business segments * Experience with Google Analytics, DemandBase, Crazzy Egg, Goole Tag Manager and similar tools. Experience with Adobe Analytics and Splunk software a plus * Experience with Optimizely, Adobe Test and Target or similar tool required * Work alongside internal business partners to measure the performance * Create periodic and on-demand reports and guide analysts to create such reports Requirements: * 10+ years of extensive hands-on experience across multiple areas of web optimization, including web analytics, personalization, A/B and multivariate testing * Strong presentation and data visualization capabilities with excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills * Proven ability to effectively prioritize and manage the needs of multiple stakeholders * Ability to communicate technical or detailed information effectively to nontechnical audiences * Ability to use data to drive decisions and recommendations * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously * Attention to detail; highly organized and analytical * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment * Current on industry trends and best practices. * SEO, HTML/CSS and web CMS knowledge a nice-to-have. * Bachelor's degree required along with practical, applied business experience in testing and data analysis.
