The individual in this position is responsible for all product regulatory affairs for the company. This includes, but is not limited to, product safety, environmental regulatory compliance, and product environmental compliance. This individual will be responsible for strategizing, developing, implementing and managing projects associated with these regulatory affairs. This position will report to the product development/engineering leader at Fluke.


  • Develop and manage regulatory roadmap, including understanding of emerging standards and regulations worldwide.

  • Be the key individual interfacing with executive team on decision making on this roadmap.

  • Interface with legal, trade compliance, and quality teams to interpret regulatory rules or rule changes and ensure that they are communicated through corporate policies and procedures.

  • Timely compilation of materials for worldwide certifications, registrations, and renewals.

  • Assists or participates in the implementation of new product development: risk management, usability, safety, quality, and validation.

  • A strong technical background in product design requiring multi-disciplinary technical collaboration.

  • Proven experience as a project leader or manager with strong project management skills.

  • Ability to manage diverse, simultaneous projects of varying complexities.

  • 10 years of industry engineering experience.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant engineering or science discipline.

The lead for thefinancial Operations team is based in Everett, WA. Maintaining and enhancingthe financial controls needed to ensure accurate and timely liabilityreporting; providing support for decision-making and building relationships acrossthe region's businesses; managing complex processes; and credit risks overmultiple ERPs. Further, there will be opportunity toinfluence the strategic direction of the Shared Service operating model,constructing business case scenarios to support increased scope of servicesand/or entities, including the development of robust service level agreements(SLAs) with internal customers and with any third-party service providers. In addition, you will bethe champion for finance for FortiveBusinessSystems (FBS) to drive andoversee improvement projects in the spirit of our company culture. Here's where you'll demonstrate your competencies for theimportant position: * Establishes,communicates and maintains policy and procedure for the Finance Operations teamof AP and AR. * Responsibilityfor managing the day to day duties of the accounts payable team, ensuring allinvoices, credit cards and personal expenses are processed in a timely mannerin multiple ERP systems. * Ensuringsuppliers are paid as per contractual payment terms whilst maximizing DPO KPIsand maintaining P-Card Suppliers and Citibank statements, reconciling GLcontrol accounts and resolving aged items in a timely manner. * Responsibilityfor managing the day to day duties of the Accounts receivable team, ensuringall invoices are issued, open AR collected and cash received are processed in atimely manner. * Ensurefull compliance to global corporate credit policies for all sales activitiesand credit risk coverage – including all leasing activity. * Monitor,consolidate, analyses and report monthly credit and collection performance,monitor and approve bad debt provision and ensure that all credit losses areprovided for. * Responsibleto prepare and execute cross functional reviews for order to cash cycle, assistin the review of credit exposure, credit limits, insured limits and uncoveredlimits and building relationships across the business. * Attendcustomer meets when necessary. Providefirst point of contact to senior management team on all significant collectionor credit issues. * SupportingMonth end and Quarter end close, providing reconciliations for key controlaccounts such as Trade Payables & Receivables, Intercompany Payables &Receivables and Credit Card Suppliers * Reviewoperations on an ongoing basis to ensure controls and records are adequate andappropriate, fully complying with both local GAAP and US requirements * Maintainingagreed KPI's to ensure control of all key targets and accurate daily managementreporting. * Assistingwith Internal and External Audit and SOX requirements, providing timely,accurate information when required. * Leadingongoing process improvement initiatives and streamlining the operations of the financefunction.
