The individual in this position is responsible for all product regulatory affairs for the company. This includes, but is not limited to, product safety, environmental regulatory compliance, and product environmental compliance. This individual will be responsible for strategizing, developing, implementing and managing projects associated with these regulatory affairs. This position will report to the product development/engineering leader at Fluke.


  • Develop and manage regulatory roadmap, including understanding of emerging standards and regulations worldwide.

  • Be the key individual interfacing with executive team on decision making on this roadmap.

  • Interface with legal, trade compliance, and quality teams to interpret regulatory rules or rule changes and ensure that they are communicated through corporate policies and procedures.

  • Timely compilation of materials for worldwide certifications, registrations, and renewals.

  • Assists or participates in the implementation of new product development: risk management, usability, safety, quality, and validation.

  • A strong technical background in product design requiring multi-disciplinary technical collaboration.

  • Proven experience as a project leader or manager with strong project management skills.

  • Ability to manage diverse, simultaneous projects of varying complexities.

  • 10 years of industry engineering experience.

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant engineering or science discipline.

VIEW JOBS 9/8/2018 12:00:00 AM 2018-12-07T00:00 We are currently seeking a National Account Manager (NAM) in the Electronic Maintenance, Repair and Operations (EMRO) Channel to join our Everett, WA based headquarter team. The NAM has responsibility for the strategic growth of approximately 5 key accounts and a number of smaller accounts in the EMRO Channel with the Fluke, Amprobe and Pomona brands. The sales leader in this high visibility position will be tasked to deliver against sales objectives while winning, maintaining, and expanding relationships with assigned channel partners. In addition to account management, the NAM will work as part of a channel team to strategically expand the channel and into adjacent markets in North America. This position reports to the Director of National Accounts. Responsibilities: * Strategic thinker able to elevate relationships to higher levels at key customers. Participate in developing and deploying strategic growth plans and execution of tactics. * Ability and executive presence to present at the highest levels of Fluke/Fortive. * Proactively leads a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship at key accounts. * Working with the EMRO Channel Leader, analyze current market environment and trends for opportunity and proactively recruits qualifying partners to drive incremental growth. Analyze market adjacencies for opportunity. * Creates, updates, implements, and enforces company channel policy * Contribute to the deployment of productivity enhancing initiatives across the EMRO channel * Provide detailed business performance and accurate sales forecasting. Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions * Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team and other customer functions * Provides monthly forecast and performance reports to the EMRO Channel Leader and the Director, National Accounts * Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned partner accounts. * Proactively coordinates the involvement of company personnel, including support, service, and management resources, in order to meet partner performance objectives and partners' expectations. * Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives in assigned partner accounts. * Manages POS and Inventory data to spot trends and put corrective action plans in place * Drives adoption of company programs among assigned partners. * Lead EMRO Accounts to drive growth through distribution partnerships. * Actively engage with North America and Global Marketing teams as well as Industrial Group Business Units to generate maximum impact in the North American Region. * Support growth imperatives by building plans to take share in the market on an annual basis * Working with the EMRO Channel Leader, execute channel coverage strategies that effectively address changes in end user purchase behavior and opportunities for growth * Propose and oversee incentive programs that motivate distributors to achieve their sales targets * Operates with the highest integrity and in compliance with all laws and regulations * 5 years Account Management experience in electronic/test & measurement industries; specific experience with EMRO distributors and/or end users a plus. * Strong background of field sales including working within multiple levels within EMRO distributor's sales structure. * Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and writing skills are required to interact with customers, other employees and management; requires the ability to anticipate and solve problems * Strong problem solving and prioritization skills * Ability to engage with a variety of people at all levels both internally and externally * Comfort with taking calculated risk in the spirit of continuous improvement to exceed growth targets * Negotiation skills and the ability to drive a win-win situation with customers * Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook * Extremely proficient with large amounts of data and analysis * Previous experience with CRM desired * Demonstrate both personal integrity and the ability to exercise good and consistent judgment Fortive Everett WA
