As a key leader of the Adaptive Insights Product Management team, you will work closely with UX, technology and business to advance our workforce planning solutions in the Adaptive Suite. In particular, you will focus on strategy and requirements for applications that include Headcount, Staffing, Resource Plans, Strategic Workforce Planning, Talent Planning and aspects of Financial Planning.
Product Management experience of 5 years or more (not mandatory if heavy SME)
Multi-dimensional modeling for enterprise planning
Enterprise cloud software
Workforce Planning or Compensation Planning
Adaptive modeling experience a plus
Experience in managing or implementing a large organizations Strategic Workforce Planning processes
Domain expertise in EPM/Planning
BA/BS in a computer science, economics or accounting, or related field. MBA or Master's degree is a plus
Contributing to and supporting our strategic product vision for workforce planning
Translating that into product roadmap and backlog priorities
Orchestrating the execution of the roadmap
Evangelizing the solution to internal and external audiences
Providing application templates for the key use cases our HR buyers require in the Adaptive multi-dimensional modeling platform
Running design partner activities with customers
Collaborate with other product areas who support solutions in both HR and Finance
Acting as the subject matter expert on the previously mentioned use cases within workforce planning
Become a "best practices" advisor to application design for both internal and external customers
Be well versed in all capabilities across the Adaptive suite and informed on other team's roadmaps and backlogs and how they impact our workforce planning solutions
Managing the product life-cycle from strategic planning to tactical product management activities. This includes acting as product owner on one or more scrum teams
Working closely with product marketing to ensure that the products are packaged and positioned accurately and in their best light
Working in an outbound capacity to provide domain expertise in support of sales and partner opportunities
Working closely with engineering and UX teams to provide the input needed to guide the product development effort.
Developing business cases as needed for major new product initiatives
Prioritizing product requirements for new features by conducting market and customer research supported by on-going communications with customers, prospects and with internal customer-facing organizations
Presenting to user groups, Workday executives, key sales prospects, industry analysts and conference audiences at Workday Rising or other events where we are sponsors
