The mission of our Device Planning Organization is to balance product supply to consumer demand, ensuring we have the right products in the right place at the right time while enabling the factories to operate efficiently and effectively. This includes working cross-functionally (with Ops Program Managers, Global Commodity Mangers, Quality, Demand Planning and Finance) to determine required capacity (factory lines and supply chain tooling) and to plan production in support of the worldwide demand. This includes converting Sales forecasts into production forecasts that drive medium and long-term factory and supply chain requirements. Finally, it includes working with Materials Managers and worldwide Ops teams to develop weekly master production schedules which result in shipment commitments to our customers.

As a Senior Manager of Planning, you will lead a team of Planning Managers who manage the individual product plans. You and your team are responsible for planning the entire family of products (possibly multiple families) and generational transitions within the family. This Senior manager role is strategic, analytical and an influential leader for our global device operations. It requires the ability to leverage a broad cross-functional organization of business teams and management partners. This role is very visible throughout the organization and this person will lead the generation of large scale and complex plans that are presented to senior leaders and executives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage production and capacity planning

  • Coordinate forecast with corporate, develop build plan and communicate to all required parties

  • Work with finance and other teams to monitor equipment utilization and report CAPEX budget

  • Ownership of our end-to-end planning processes and workflows to direct our build and manufacturing investment decisions

  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop capacity plans for new products and products in production

  • Drive solutions to reduce and eliminate any gaps in plans preventing meeting order schedule, including assisting in sourcing materials as required

  • Schedule and host meetings with manufacturing partners in U.S. and/or globally as required, reducing and eliminating shortages

  • Measure, and continuously improve key end-to-end supply chain performance indicators from build plan accuracy to customer on-time delivery

  • Plan and solve any roadblocks to meeting plan

  • Act as the primary liaison between the OEM and team in Sunnyvale monitoring, managing and driving the OEM to assure goals/schedule is being met

  • Represent the planning organization in internal program meetings

SUMMARY Manage a number of complex tenant improvement and lab type and building infrastructure projects, such as those requiring high-level input on mechanical and electrical systems, or having other specialized requirements. Act as the main coordinator and project liaison to the client, architect, general contractor, engineers, building manager, furniture and move vendors, and security, throughout each project. This person maintains document control, manages databases and coordinates and tracks project activities and communications to ensure project goals are accomplished within the prescribed timeframe and budget parameters. Essential and Responsibilities * Obtain clear understanding of project scope from client, including high level details, prior to kick-off meeting * Guide client on realistic timeframe expected for each project * Build and lead a successful team through all phases of each project * Manage financials for each project, including obtaining approvals for initial and final budgets, release of purchase orders, tracking of existing and expected commitments, and timely approval of invoices * Implement and document value engineering, with solutions to reduce spending or improve schedule, process, or final product, without an increase in cost * Prepare status reports for management, client, project personnel and/or others and modify schedules or plans as required * Maintain a filing system that documents all project activities * Control project OAC meetings, site visits, punch-list walkthroughs for construction or furniture, meeting vendors to provide access and oversight * Upon project construction completion, coordinate project closeout by obtaining O&M Manuals and building as-builts, then issue them to planning / archive teams and to leasing team for landlord acceptance and release of TI allowances * Document and share lessons learned * Provide advice, guidance, and direction to subordinate employees and direct reports, if applicable, to facilitate their professional development * Obtain and maintain client trust and loyalty Qualifications * Minimum 10 years' experience working in the commercial real estate industry * Ability to embrace and adapt to the technology required to fulfill the responsibilities of this position (Word, Excel, Fasttrack) * Robust knowledge of the commercial real estate industry * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Good organizational skills * Ability to adapt to changing clients, workloads, and general requirements * Bachelor's degree (B.
