Overview

  • Buy media within assigned categories/campaigns and maintain performance KPIs

  • Participate in paid marketing strategy discussions and contribute ideas for testing, fan experience, and data analysis

  • Perform competitive analysis and develop a comprehensive industry understanding

  • Organize campaign media plans while developing campaign deliverables creative, tracking, test and learn milestones

  • Use Google Analytics/Search Ads 360 (or similar bid management and analytics software) to assess trends and activity

  • Engage in product discussions and recommend product enhancements to engineering and data science

  • Summarize campaign performance and recap channel initiatives for both internal and external stakeholders

  • Guide and mentor junior team members

Responsibilities:

Manage SEM campaigns in high-growth categories:

  • Forecast spend and manage budget utilization

  • Making campaign funding recommendations based on performance

  • Presenting campaign results internally and to external clients

  • Auditing and validating campaign performance data

  • Build and refine keyword lists

  • Write and test ad copy, landing pages, and new search advertising products

  • Analyze competitors and industry trends

  • Audit tracking and ensure accurate measurability

  • Help prioritize software development roadmap

Requirements

  • 6+ years managing paid search campaigns through Adwords/Bing, with annual budget >$10m

  • Marketing, business/economics, statistics/math, or technical degree from a top-tier university

  • Full-lifecycle people management experience (recruiting onboarding training leading)

  • Experience with data and using it to tell a story. Must be able to ingest large amounts of data and interpret trends and opportunities

  • Experience using Google Analytics and/or Search Ads 360 to analyze e-commerce data

  • Experience building dashboards in Domo, Tableau, or other software

  • Expert-level capability using Excel

  • SQL experience required

  • Powerpoint/presentation-building experience preferred
